Please add GTT/GTC feature in Upstox too coz Zerodha has made it available for their users.

ACCOUNT OPENING is the only activity these guys are busy with, their product is a joke, their terminal is a joke, incase of slight increase in volatility and their product goes for a toss, extremely poor customer service as well, if anyone's reading this, please don't waste your time with Upstox these guys don't offer any research either, Try something like 5Paisa if you'll want discount broker experience as they offer amazing third party products as well or stick to full service guys like IIFL , Motilal Oswal. If you don't trust me just read honest reviews on Google Play Store.
Also, a small humble message, incase any Upstox employee reads this : Pls stop burning money in sponsoring IPL & invest in your product, offer some research service as well, merely opening accounts won't take you anywhere.

one of the worst brokeraging app, wont login most of the times hangs always, feed wont refresh at all always need to kill the app and singin.

I Am holding 4 accounts in my family and referred many of my friends to upstox. I will be closing my account and will move to other broker. Below are the issues faced for which no resolution provided and customer service is also not good:
1. Tried to place OFS of DEN Networks on Trade n Call as Upstox does not provide this facility on the trading site. I have provided my TPIN while connecting to phone but the guy kept asking me personal details like mom name, date of birth etc. When I asked i have entered TPIN and why he needs all the details he was so rude and told me he cannot proceed if i donot provide the details. I think there is no use of TPIN for UPSTOX account.
2. other brokers square off intra day trades at 3:15 PM but Upstox does it by 3:00 PM which causes losses due to volatility at the time of orders cancellations.
3. They donot have Rights entitlement share trading enabled in their terminals and this issue was not fixed in 10 days and its very sad.
4. The website does not show rates if I add any new script in watchlist and I have to relogin to see the rates of the script added.
5. Many times rates stops refreshing on the website and I have to use mobile app to perform my trading.
6. The rates of a share are not same in 2 terminals opened in 2 different accounts, This I have observed a couple of times.

If you are thinking to trade often or want to make a big investment portfolio then Upstox is a big No. I have already stared using other discount broker which is having much better services. Not writing the other broker name because my intention is not to promote any broker here but to help other investors with my poor experience I have faced with Upstox.

Yes, I completely agree with all your points. I am thinking of changing to other broker too. The prices and candlesticks don't refresh on time and get freezed when you want to book profit. I use hi-speed internet but this issue is with Upstox website. As you rightly said, if you want to trade regularly, Upstox is a BIG NO NO.

I want cancel my demat account from upstox with immediate effect because of no proper service

Only two months passed opening the account. Worst broker. Worst Customer Service.
Upstox customer care service is pathetic.
I will add experience of mine here.
I have recently opened the account with Upstox and has only one but very serious concern.
And I think others should not fall prey to this in future.
1)
Upstox give free Indusind bank account opening at the time of opening demat account.
So I took that offer and opened account with Indusind bank.
But Upstox attaches this account to our demat account forcefully. It is made primary account.
So whenever you want to do payout, it will get credited to Indusind bank account only.
2) In Upstox you can not change/select bank account when you go for withdraw money option. This is unlike most other brokers where we can select any linked bank account to withdraw money.
3) I had raised the ticket for changing the primary account to my other bank's account.
But on phone they said it will be done within 48 hours. But its been 1 month now and they have not changed my primary account in Upstox.
3) I even escalated email to compliance@upstox.com but no response from there as well.
4) There is no communication from UPSTOX till now. So be aware of this technique Upstox is using to divert your fund to their preferred/partenered bank account.

I like the interface Upstox has, it looks more clean and professional. However they have pathetic customer service. I understand they are called discount brokers for a reason, but then a strong customer support is much needed. Many a times, I raise a query and ticket with them, and no one looks at them for weeks and such slow response is not expected at this age of technology.

Very very worst customers service for Upstox, because more than a month I am trying nobody has not been helped me to solve the issues.

Upstox worst customer Care. Only solution they will give is raise a ticket and your problem won't resolve.please don't go for it

The mobile app lacks basic features TV Chart, ease of user experience on navigation, saving chart template as default, but some doubt in ratings on G Play Store, reading through the reviews it seems spam/in appropriate.

Worst service Worst broker. In Call n Trade I have to give all the details even after entering through client id and Tpin. They charge 50 rs for an OFS and still feels like I am a cheater to provide them the DOB, Name, Client ID etc. Its a must avoid for retail investors. Better spend a bit on brokerages to go for some good customer services customer.

definitely Upstox is fraud broker. So many Hidden and excess charges charged without intimation. so BIG no for upstox. as far my concern it may deducted charges from account without customer information. it is better to discuss with a near by agent of other broker at least they will confirm you all the applicable charges.and you will aware about it.

Have opened a online account to see what is discounted brokers are, Pathetic.

You are not permitted to trade in share of your choice even with 100% Margin... There RMS Which should take care of the company decides which shares you should trade for.

Demat of physical shares submitted, took 4 months for the processeing there DRF No.....

What more can you expect from a brokerage house

Upstox is fraud broker. Many Hidden and excess charges charged without intimation.

Upstox Representative doesnt support customers. Lack of knowledgeable customer support. Representative always provide incorrect, inappropriate information. Always make fool to customers. Dont give proper explanation on Charges and daily statement.

Much more amount means unwanted huge charges charged from your invested amount daily.

Never open demat account in Upstox.

You cant succeed and never make profit with Upstox.

Lower Margin/ Lower Leverage compared to other broker.

Also CO/OCO/AMO order facilities not available.

Documents like POA are misplaced. Do not keep good records. Every time you contact them there is a new person to deal with who has no clue to your case. if it wasn't such a pain. we would leave them. Confusing number of websites: RKSV, UPSTOX, NEST,. Nothing is easy.
I was told same password works with all their sites:UNTRUE. My wife was told she had not submitted a POA, so no trading. Get instant code from ILFS. This doesn't work. 2 weeks later she receives email saying ILFS won't give her instant code because she has another holder [2nd holder] me, her husband. All shares she wanted to sell have tanked even further.

Upstox, cutting money indirectly from ur account,there hidden charges are very high,31agust I will get 171/-intreday but upstox not give me also charges applied very high,no support ,no reply from customer service,u will losses ur money in upstox please save ur money,they use TATA name but failed Tata also,I was close my account

Yes true, the traded profit does not shown our ledger as per the contract note.they have hidden charges and reduced money we gets

ITS THE MOST USELESS BROKER EVER. HUGE LOSSES TODAY. GO WITH SOME OTHER BROKERS UPSTOX IS PATHETIC.

I have been using this app for more than a year. Here’s my rationale for the above-given rating.
Upstox is the most unreliable app for trading. For instance, the platform failed exactly on the day of the budget announcement where large bids and volume transactions take place. The platform started working the next day and the company head posted a mail stating the technical glitch. This shows the companies unpreparedness and lack of vision. Technical issues aside amount of sorry can revert the lost trade opportunities. There were few issues in futures and options as well

They charge AMC on-time but fail to serve their users when the users need the platform the most. In my opinion, it's unfair to charge when they aren't providing quality service.

I don't recommend this app for investors as well because the app fails to alert the user even when the user has a defined price alert in the app. Another disadvantage in using Upstox is that they DON'T offer free transfer of shares among family members who have accounts in upstox. Upstox COMPETITORs offers free and hassles transfer among family/relations.

Haramkhore hai sala broker hamesha jab bhi market kabhi badi move hone wali hai tab hamasha server band karke baithata hai sala. aisa harami broker hai ye. Kio bhi is upstox pe app mat open karna aur karega to bhi FNO me trade mat karna apka profit loss me conert hone tak server band karke baithega
