Very poor service. They place the order by themselves without intimating the customer and those orders goes in loss and that loss to be beared by customer. Customer service is worst. You'll not get any proper resolution to your query. They simply close the tickets without solution.
Upstox is really bad, poor customer service and they don't respond to emails/ tickets raised. Basic service like prividing contract notes on a daily basis is not done. Employees at customer service are not aware of the process. Stay away.

Hello guys don't open the account in upstox they are cheater upstox cut the money in the account i have raised the ticket many time no buddy reply on the mail after that i have called many time no one responsible in this company
UPStox is a crap. On Urgency, You will never get any support from any mean. No one will attand if you call. If you have problem and If you need help, You never get support from anyone. The App/Site will not work always. Then You will lost money. Rest is your decision. I am a victim of loser.
Extremely poor customer service. I'm not even sure why they have employed people in customer service. Three only way to contact customer service is via chat. A response is received on chat based on their whims and fancies. You may send a message at 11:00 am but receive a response only at 5:30 pm. The customer service uses 2 strategies. First strategy is to totally side step your query and provide a response on a totally unrelated topic. Second strategy is the canned response "We have highlighted your ticket to the concern team and they will revert soon". Their customer service strategy is to frustrate the customer. And you are bound to interact with the lousy customer service because their systems are broken. Funds transfers made to you trading account don't materialize. Contract notes aren't sent out on many occasions. Buggy systems with login issues. The list is endless. Opening an Upstox account was a huge mistake. If you read this review and still go ahead with opening an Upstox account, you have only yourself to blame when things go wrong; and they definitely will

worse customer care support and aften take out the stock quantity from your dmat account without permission or information. i feel bad for registering with such a low class broker
Upstox does not provide OCO and CO orders for banknifty options atl east we can not provide the stop loss. which makes trading very difficult

The stamp duty detail provided in upstox is not clear. Its say you just check with our calculator. I check the stamp duty on their calculator and i compare with other discount broker it show big difference. In upstox calculator it show higher amount of stamp duty as compare to other. So that now i am confuse whether i go for upstox or not. Also everything not datailed in website also.
Do not open account with Upstox, they have a shitty tool, the tool hangs while intraday live trading.

Worst broker ever. Worst customer service and worst platform. Since the time I opened my account 3 months ago, I have been unable place Sell AMO orders as mine was new account and I did courier physical POA to their Maxus facility Mumbai office. Their support team is unavailable since lockdown in mid March. They have put block on several securities in ASM while I am able to easily trade in same scrips on ICICIdirect platform. Further, it give repeated errors while placing orders on Upstox for several hours at times and you are not able sell at your desired price. I will strongly advise to go with other brokerages and avoid upstox.

unable to withdraw my referrel rewards pending since 3 weeks. no customer supports, customer care number is just for formality complaint ticket raised more than 15 times, no response from upstox.

referrel scheme is just for showing not for giving... stay away it may be scam. i stucked more than 3 weeks.

I had opened account in upstox some times back. Had been actively trading past couple of months. Recently when I checked the contract note I found that the brokerage I was charged was double the amount which was to be charged. (0.05% brokerage is for the basic plan but they were charging 0.1%). I have then written to them on the high brokerage charge. They have reverted that mine will be converted to basic plan. Not sure how they changed my plan from basic plan to another plan and charged double brokerage. Will they refund the double brokerage charges taken from me till now.
Also recently they had put a restriction of trading in ASM script. Many scripts are under ASM. Even Yes Bank is under ASM. But other brokerages allow them to trade. But blocking the script when I am trading with my own money and I take the risk of trading the stock, did not amuse me. I am thinking of moving to other brokerages. Zerodha in which as well I am having account, till now have not faced issue with brokerage charges or blocking of ASM scripts.
I rate UPSTOX as WORST compared to others and specially they are cheaters. For greater leverage and priority, opted for priority account. But when we trade in banknifty options, an order of 400 Qty is split into small chunks of 40, 20,80 etc. and for each chunck the will be charging the brokerage separately. In my case, they charged around 300Rs brokerage for single transaction. Also, there is no facility to modify the entire order price in a shot for these small chunks.

After reading so many reviews, I am scared to go with this broker. I am excellent with Axis direct though paying high brokerage.
Very low graded app for trading. Losing my money in itradaday transactions as the app always out of work after accepting the orders. No body is responsible for our losses, they are just milking their fee per order. Really a fuddu app.
