Motilaal oswal is very cheater company he always deduct hidden charges so i advise don't use motilal oswal services

very unprofessional people, when you invest they are very nice, but when you try to cash your shares they will show the true colous.. bloody assholes

1. They appoint an advisor for you, who keeps changing every 3-4 weeks. Along with your old advisor, you also lose a chunk of your investment due to the trade decisions.
2. I had 5 advisors in a timeframe of 8-weeks
3. They convince you that their call is very good and communicate ONLY the scenario if it turns positive and not the other end.
4. They will make you pledge all your transactions/equities to have more margin for themselves and earn the pledge/unpledge charges.
5. Heavy brokerage charges and no relief in the same, better go with Zerodha
6. Advisors do NOT trade based on your risk appetite, but they do just to meet their targets/goals etc.
7. Even after having heavy losses, they convince that they have a good trade and get confirmation. Once losses are done, the advisor gets changed.
8. Their system works well when you have to add funds. However, when you try to withdraw the idle funds, you will NEVER get the OTP neither on email nor phone number
9. Too many calls from multiple folks - to activate segments, to attend webinars - sometimes on same day with knowing that we are already in connect with their advisor. It should be a single point of contact for us and not multiple folks.

Motilal oswal was my worst nightmare. These finanical advisor which is assigned to are thick skin money sucking parasite. They are liars and dont believe a single word of them. They are not financial advisor they are sales parasite. These parasites are only interested in generating brokerage for their bosses and they dont give a about customer. I lost around 23000 rs in my first year. My bad experience turn nightmare one day where i made losses of rs 22000 plus 10000 rs brokerage. I lost 32000 rupee on that one day. They are big time liars, stay away from them Period. If you really wants to throw your hard earned money, throw away on street, it will help poor people rather than trusting your money with motilal oswal. Period. I learnt it in hardway. Hope my experience will save few investor. You cant trust them with your money.

Based on my experience I have learnt the lesson the heard way.

I opened my demat account only for long term investment. And I clearly stated that in every communication with the advisors.

I got call from commodities for trading. They managed to loose money. (Around 35,000 ) Advisor names are Aaditya, Mr Mutthu and Jose.

Got call from currency... advisor Zeel vara. I told her I want to invest for long term delivery only. She started one SIP. and then went for currency trading... she and one more advisor managed to loose round the same amount in currency.

One more lady called for trading in banknifty ets. Lost double that amount. totally 1.4 lacs.

I am vary clear about their intentions and strategy.

1. They want brokerage.

2. They train their advisors to look for vulnerable customers and then start edging them to agree for intraday, currency, commodity etc.

3. They are thick skinned and do. It care for you and keep on insisting that you should try that.

4. They make you give consent for the trade so they argue that it is done with your consent.

5. They will never agree that they are trying to dupe you into trading and so that the broker gets the brokerage.

When I asked Vandana (she was the last one to call) tell me in the name of God that you are not trained to edge customers for trading—— and she was silent....


So conclusion. Never trade based on insistence of the advisors of MOTILALA OFS. They will manage to make losses fir you for sure.

Very true. Motilal Oswal financial advisers are fraud people. Every 2 days, they change your financial adviser who incurred you heavy losses and the new one will express ignorance. Without your knowledge, they play with your money. I also lost 23000 in a single day, though I warned them not to play with my money. But these rascals don't listen and cheat people. Never open account with them

I had invested in Motilal Oswal IOP PMS in 2017. The scripts selected under the fund has performed below average. They sell your stocks to realise their monthly fees. It was a horrible experience in investing in PMS from Motilal. Their response was below sub-standard. Never ever attempt to invest your hard earned funds in Motilal Oswal PMS funds. Even after 5 years of investment, I was not able to recover the cost of these investment and reeling under heavy losses. They do not know the market, they are blind to the market movements. I had to incur a huge loss on account of this.

I dislike the services of motilal oswal because they increase the average buy price of purchased stock it is increased by 5 to 10 rupee in per lot. When I contact to support team they have no idea about it.

They do a lot of unauthorized transactions... How to complaint against them?

Savita client cider AY414 I doubt whether they conduct any trading..Financial advisor DIPESH GUPTA is expert in making losses.I doubt whether they conduct any trading.All false transactions are conducted.Somebody elses trade is shown in your name when they incur losses.

Worst service. What they do if they dont get business from us is they keep changing RM/ equity advisors. They will only suggest the stocks if you give them business mf/insurance.

Moving out to all my share holdings from Motilal. Their team championed by advisor Devang (in my case) will push you towards trading and promise great returns. The only thing he managed to do was lose substantial money even when I requested him to manage the risk better - empty statements of gut feel and momentum is used , in the end , they get their brokerage and you a loss. Some recovery happens which is nothing close to the prior loss and in the process of recovery , you lose more. This is a vicious cycle , had to break it. Cutting my losses and moving out and suggest folks to be extremely careful - total unprofessional unit, if you want to lose money quickly , maybe could be your choice.

I have never given online feedback when companies try hard but fail to meet service expectation , in this case, have taken an exception with the hope that people don’t lose big with these jokers. Watch out for Devang Roy - total fluff.

Very high brokerage and advisor alway pressure u option trading in which he got good brokerage.

Their research team and their work is bad , their advisors doesn't have any proper knowledge about the situation and they will not even pick up the calls at right time . While they were attending a call they will just like that leave it and will go somewhere to square off a order u will have to call repeatedly and then lose all your money and patience

Currency Brokerage is very high. if you trade on calls given by their advisor, you will incur huge loss. they just want brokerage from you. no care for retail or small investors

It's worst service provided..Never never take broker call..Agent call you force you take call or allow us to trade from client ..And ultimately they give to loss in Trading..Finally We conclude that they only trade behalf of client only for Brokrage not for client Profit..Beware..Only for opening account..they give good service..After that...worst worst service

Motilal oswal is a totally fake they stole my account where i was holding 38+
And now i don't have right to sle or purchase anything in my account
So guys please don't west your money in motilal oswal this is totally fraud

Not liking it for sure due to unknown/not cleared trading fees, broken mobile app, no proper detailed transaction history, too dark (not user friendly) interface, Scripts failed a lot of times, typing sucks, asked for DOB every single day (it's too annoying) before placing an order, clicking a stock preset to last chosen option (buy/sell) so sometimes you want to buy instead placed sell order (another annoyed) should set to default, too slow app, slow speed of an app

Overall, too a bad experience. I will not recommend anyone to use it

motilaloswal brokerage is very high compared to others and i gave demat account to motilal oswal advisors they cheated me and 50 % of capital is i lost this is very sad news and my suggestion is dont give account to them and advisors and sales men work for brokerage and targets and incentives and they will not consider customer point of view

i recommend to don't open account in Motilal ,

Very high charges , financial advice conntiusally call you to trade in FNO & Option to make commision.

I experienced similar problem. Their service and apps for trading stink. No one ever calls back or picks up phone. In Hyderabad, I called every office but no one picks up the phone. I want to close the damn account but they are not responding. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

There research on options is very poor. There only interest is to make the individual to trade in options and that too huge lots. They have no concern for the money of the individual.

You are absolutely right. This is the worst app i have ever used for trading and investing. Brokerage is very very high as compare to other like zerodha, upstox , etc.
