Kotak will make you fool if you directly go to them and ask for opening demat account and there customer support is very poor they will not tell you clear reply. They always reply that you have to go to branch for any thing you ask for.
Ultimate bakwas.
I am closing my account with them.

Even I have same problem. The worst customer support I have ever seen. No one is responding. Not even helping in the deactivation of this WASTE Demat account.

Kotak minimum brokerage charge is Rs.21/- either it is delivery or intraday. I suggest management of kotak securites ltd. to remove this minimum charges of Rs.21/- immediately.

I am with kotak for the last 9 years, overall very disappointed with the service. Looking to move to ventura as the brokerages are reasonable and reaserach sms are provided.

I opened Offline Demat Account instead of online account.so i cant place
an order.. the requested to agent convert to offline to online.. than he told i have close offline account than i have open fresh online account with account opening fees 750.00.. and he told if want to make an transaction online i should i have balance of 100000.00 or shares of this much amount...please suggest me

Lack of brokers trading knowledge, profitability very very low, I am not happy with this. I used this passed 4yrs my overall profitability ration is 5% out of 100%. very poor.

Very very high brokerage for retail investors with the 21/- minimum brokerage of one executed order.

If you invest 1000/-, buy brokarage sell brokarage and DP account ITS SEVEN VERY VERY HIGH).

Then how can you earn profit.
If you want to invest 1lack rupees in stock market you won''t invest on only one stock on one day so brokerage is very very high.

Even though you got 10% profit you need to pay 7% brokerage so waste of using it.

I m really very with the services of kotak, however the look of your online trading portal is really very bad.it look like a student of 10th standard has designed it. At least look some other site what website at least you can learn from them. Please improve it if you really wanna customer to be with you.

I am going to close my 1 year old account with Kotak, they are charging 4 times more brokerage on small scrips below 10rs.
Its better to open account with discount brokers.

I wanted to open an Trading account. So choose to go with Kotak and now I am repenting for this decision. I was told that my account will be activated in 8 days and I paid full money.. today is 40th day.. DP account is opened but they are HARASSING me for activating my trading account.. TOO Much High Brokerages.... Just Too MUCH.. 2.5% Brokerages applied to my tradings.

I traded IRB Infra share INTRADAY at around 255 and brokerages were around 6.40 Rs. WORST BROKERAGES EVER. THEY TOLD THat brokerages for INTRADAY is 0.049 %, But calculating Intraday brokerages with comparing 2.5 percent and 21 Rs and Delivery Brokerages. WORST...

In few days I was about to open a demat account with Kotak securities, but here it seems they are hidden charges and not good for beginner investors.

I''m trading in Kotak Securities for more than 2 years. I didn''t have any problem initially, but, whenever I''m going for some customer support I''m seriously disappointed. I recently opted to change my offline account to an online account. I have given all the necessary papers there is no proper response from them whenever I''m trying to contact. They actually told the processing time would be 2 days, but, its been 15 days since i submitted the forms. I''m seriously disappointed with their service. If no proper action is taken in the next few days, i have no other option than quitting Kotak Securities.

I thought to open my account in Kotak securities as their on paper brokerages are very less for intra day trading....But after seeing all of these comments I am not opening the account...Thanks for all for posting and letting know others the actual situation...

My experience with kotak securities is worst i never suggest any one for kotak. Whatever they say they never follow. Even i got mail from there side that they will remove maximum brokerage concept from my account then also they are charging as the same, no meaning of there words, Now i am going to close the account.
