Icici automatically square of options a week before expiry if it hits strike price, even at loss , without account holders permission and as per their customer service-its icici rule. Have lost a lot of money because of same so planning o shift to other brokers. Very immature and illogical rule. Or they want full money to be allocated for all in the money orders even if customer doesn't intend to buy. No option to even pick and choose which options customer want to secure and take till just before expiry for max benefits. And they never informed this in advance while account opening . Very unfriendly internal rules and stubborn as big players in market. Will never recommend!!

So many hidden charges and high brokerages in ICICI. So i lost my profit exactly 15000rs for the trade value of 250000rs. Go to some other less brokerage fees brokers. Initially ICICI may look less brokerage.But once you start trading it will suck your profit and make you to be in loss

very very high brokerage, worst consumer service ------very sweet talking office staff so that u open an account after that they do not care, Too costly for any trading or investment...........also they do lots of prop trading......beware . Never ever open account with icicidirect
Apprarently brockrage for intraday is 50 paise, which is double of what core brockrage houses charge for delivery.. ICICI security would die, if it continues to charge such high brockrage

Utterly useless customer service. They don't read the emails properly and just copy paste set templates as replies.

Charge less brokerage, less yearly maintenance. For Customer service- its employees have less knowledge to solve problems of customers. And they just try to sell products without having any thorough knowledge about the subject

Contacted customer on DP Charges, where I have not done any security transaction in last 2years. 16000 charged already. Customer care team keep sending links which have no clue on DP Charges. Unprofessional and unethical way of working by customer support. They intent to close ticket by irritating customer without helping. Planning to log official complaint and get my answers on DP Charges.
Highest brokerage will soon eat lot of existing account holders.icici direct needs to understand the ground reality
