This was one of the first SME ipo investments done by me , have been holding it till now, the stock went to 220 ish and didn't sell , as the prospects looked good today there was a big lower circuit i was puzzled and decided to find more, then found on Money control board that all the upward price movement was rigged as per SEBI , my faith in the market has been really shaken, retail investors are just worth nothing

For the first time, i got allotment in this SME and could not exit since then. I am still holding this. please suggest your view on this? should still hold for long term expecting some returns or book loss and exit? Losses are high so not able to dare to book loss.

So not trying to promote anything but am genuinely curious if the day betting/tournament crowd here will take to this. I've been a trader the last almost 7 years (focusing now primarily on equity futures) but my solopreneur mindset is taking me on an added trajectory as of late.

A very basic platform to allow traders to engage in a tournament style competition to wager a fixed amount on individual skills where they think a provided stock will close out by the end of the session. My goal is to shift the ODTE options crowd and other niche aspects of the trading world in a different direction. Right now I am setting up a platform for 1v1 and 5 player free-for-all. I could go over the whole legality talk but channeling the tournament style (like Players Lounge), yes it is legal.

The site hasn't launched yet (within the month I want to launch). What are your alls thoughts? Genuinely curious on ideas I could potentially utilize from this community. Is SME IPO allotment really lottery based?

I have been applying for SME IPOS since last year ( applied for more than 30 sme IPOS) however I have not got any allotment.
This makes me think either I am too unlucky to get an allotment or there is some issue with lottery process itself.

IPOs are difficult to obtain for retail investors - they are usually completed in the primary market.

I clicked 'Post New Message', and like before, this 'Feedback' form popped up, which I'm sure sends this message to you instead of discussion board.

I'm sure there are a lot of us who always have something other than current IPO to discuss, especially during events like Paytm, and which you correctly discourage on IPO discussion pages. But this page doesn't work like is supposed to.

Hope to see this functionality improvement soon. Also hope it will improve user experience as well as traffic and your revenue, without overburdening you or without any other negative impacts.
