Newrookie ji, Please don’t hesitate to purchase 100 to 150 shares at the CMP of around Rs. 658/-. The size of the buyback is considered to be not a big one to use full force. Thank you.
@rahulagg @Newrookie : yes kpr mills can be purchased at current levels but in my opinion don't take too much big bet here, this share has a very good run up already in this year. I bought some shares today at 651. Record date is 19th feb, last day to buy with buyback eligibility is 16th feb.
FDC Ltd on Friday informed the stock exchanges that its board of directors will consider a proposal for buyback of shares via tender route on 9th of February. Pigeon ji, You may be well aware that all the individual investors are not exclusively Retail Investors, but also include a few investors who might have submitted bids of shares worth more than Rs. 2,00,000/- individually. Thank you n all the best.
Hi I'm Ram, Having acc with zerodha & having 32.Ajanta Pharma. Pl advice if I offer for buyback will all my. 32 be accepted or how much will be accepted?
Looks AR will be around 50%, so 16 shares might be accepted. However, there are many new people (including me) participating in buyback and CMP is also around 2100Rs. So AR can come down to 40%.
Amit ji, Please be kind to post your valuable views on knowing the details of the buyback. Your magnanimous guidance has always helped me n at present also hopefully looking forward for your continued help. Thank you.
Details as communicated are as follows: Maximum shares of the buyback: 22,36,000 Buyback price : Rs. 805/- Mode : Through the Tender Offer Happy investing to all. Thank you.
Amit ji, Is the size of the buyback in the retail category worth opting for? I do have this doubt. That’s why I have purchased a small quantity. Please enlighten me. Thank you.
KSRK sir, even though buyback size is small, there is a good arbitrage opportunity. Share is also doing reasonable well.. one can purchase in small quantity..

Pradeep ji, Detailed information regarding various categories can’t be verified from this link. Only overall position can be known. Sorry for disappointing you. Thank you.
In the following circumstances, assume that current price is 3800 and by the time buyback window gets announced its 4000 n in buyback its also reaching 4500 in secondary mkt.
Person A Buys 50 shares of TCS, waits for the ex date /record date announcement and In the buy-back, presents only 44 out of 50 shares? , will the person B be eligible for buy back?
Person B buys 50 shares of TCS, waits for the ex date /record date announcement and then sells off 6 shares (before ex date) and In the buy-back, presents only 44 out of 44 shares
I agree its the more safest to go with Person B's approach but want to know if Person A will be eligible for participating for a successful buyback same as Person B?
Gaurav ji, Both A and B eligible for buyback if they choose to tender shares but will be treated im different investor category. 1) Individual who has Share Holding worth rs 2 lakh is categorized in Retail Category. Your imaginary person B will fall in this category if he has shares worth Rs. 2 lakh on record date, quantity may be 44 shares as you like. The timing of sale should be as per your convenient time, but do the selling before 3 days.
2) Individual who has Share Holding worth more than rs 2 lakh is categorized in General Category - Your imaginary person A will fall in this category whether he offers 44 or 50 shares.
For more information regarding acceptance ratio (how many shares will be accepted out of offering) and important dates, please read below posts of Lokes Sir and other gentlemen in this page who have given valuable inputs on this subject. Good Luck.
