Please let me know that if we have only 1 share of companies who declared buyback through tender route, is it 100 % sure news that company must accept that 1 share even the acceptance ratio is whatever i.e. (25%, 50 %, 75 % or any other ratio than 100 %) ?
Given the current market condition for IT companies, Is there a chance that TCS might withdraw its buyback plan? If the buyback plan continues, what could be the acceptance percentage?
@ksrk sir...thank u...also one more query if we have 2 shares each of mayur, FDC and kpr before record date in 5 different account...can we offer to tender during buyback....
Kpr mills under any scrutiny by NSE as during buying it is suggesting the same

Manoj ji, Please go through the messages in this regard in this page. You will be getting answers for your doubts. My earnest appeal to the readers is that they should go through all the messages of that particular buyback to better understand the topic, before raising a query. Thank you n all the best.
Prashant ji, Around 1,21,60,000 shares are submitted for the buyback by the individual investors which may include some investors who have submitted shares worth more than Rs. 2 lakh ( as on the Record Date) which may be considered under general category. Around 50% AR can be expected in the Retail Category and around 30% AR in general category. Of course, that is my understanding and may vary. Thank you.
ColdBurger ji, Most probably, it will not increase. In exceptional cases, there may be a little addition to the figures due to unavoidable circumstances. Thank you.
Shares tendered in Retail are now 1.20 crore against 50.76 lakh quota. So, AR is now 42% in retail category. Let's see what is the final number at the end of the day.
Antarix ji, I once again reiterate that all the individual investors are not exclusively Retail Investors. Individual investors include some of the investors who might have been submitted the shares worth more than Rs. 2 lakh (as on the Record Date) which may be considered under general category. I am of the opinion that the AR would be around 50%. Thank you.
Amit ji, Thank you very much for sharing your views on the AR. Hopefully looking forward for the good AR as you mentioned. To be so frank, I have expected around 50%. Very kind of you,Sir. Please continue to help me by sharing your views on all the forthcoming Buybacks.
@KSR sir @Lokes @ Noorul @ all mentors... request your guidance to understand when can a retail investor buy the share when a buy back gets announced...for example if I buy moil, mayur ubiquoters and kpr mills today @ 10 Feb will I be able to pledge my shares to company to buyback...
Noor ji, No for MOIL as today is the last day for bidding the shares for the buyback. In case of the KPR MILL, the Record Date is 19/02/2022. So, you can purchase upto 15/02 if you wishes so. In case of the MAYUR UNIQUOTERS, the Record Date is 23/02/2022. So, you can purchase upto 18/02 if you wishes so. 19/02 n 20/02 are holidays.
@KSR sir...thank u for the help..much appreciated...I am relatively new to this platform...wanting to learn new and effective ways to invest wisely...I have been reading through the advices of experts on this forum and I would want to thank u all(experts) for guiding us...keep mentoring us
Only 50lak That will be very small. If 15% is for general then it should be around 100 crore(1,040,655,000). Need correct analysis to estimate outcome. How much %agw reserved for general?
I am really sorry for presenting the wrong numbers of shares. Actual that is INR equivalent. Only around 50.7 Lakh shares should be accepted from retail and it has already crossed that number, expecting AR around 40%. @KSRK Sir Please share your valuable thoughts.
@KAMMA SIVA RAMA KRISHNA Sir, @Lokes Sir If MOIL buyback is not fully subscribed then will retail investors will get the benefit? Because as of now it is showing 31% on NSE website, while the retail portion is oversubscribed.
@vipin @rahulagg : yes if general category is not fully subscribed then retail category shares will be accepted in excess to 15%. And from individual investors (category 3 in below link), all are not below 2 lakhs, it contains above 2 lakh category also. So all 1 crore shares tendered here are not from below 2 lakh retailers.
@KSRK sir- The current bid data on NSE is not reflecting correct numbers right? I assume AR to be below 30%. Brokers like Zerodha submit the bid on last date i guess. I did tender on 8th seeing the price pulling down from 180. Had it hit 185+ I would have sold in market. Was not tracking price much.

ColdBurger ji, Please wait with some patience. More than 5.11 crore shares by 11:00 hours of today, against the maximum acceptable of 3.38 crore shares, are found submitted for the buyback. AR in Retail Category may not be less than 40% in any case and hopefully even upto 60%. All the best. Thank you.
