Had purchased 1 Share of TCS Through https://web.linkintime.co.in/Offer/Default.aspx generated pre filled form and it shows: Holding as on 23: 1 Share Entitled: 0
So this depends on luck now? [don't have much idea how AR becomes helpful for 1 share] Can any throw light (as I've heard ppl saying 1 share will be 100% accepted) if they know?
Everyone will get mail from registrar in next some days with tender period dates and shares holding as per record date, then you can tender once period will open.
I have 40 shares of TCS on record date, can i sold share tomorrow and purchase once again during tender window then am i eligible for buyback or i need to hold my TCS securities till buyback over for successful bid?
you can sell buy many times....you can do anything after record date, buy more or sell etc.....whenever tender period will open then you can tender max. shares as per record date holding. you can tender by buying again (2-3 days before tender last date, as per your broker etc) if you sold your holdings after record date. If you added more shares after record date, then you can tender as per record date holding. Your category (retail/general) will be decided based on your holdings on record date, no matter how many you are buying/selling/tendering after record.
I have applied for MOIL buyback through Zerodha for 50 shares. But none of them are accepted I guess, because I can see all 50 shares in my demat account.
Is there anything I missed while applying for buyback? I just clicked on tender shares for buyback , thats it.
Did you provided offer price(prefilled) and quantity and submitted it? After that on last day BB closure did you got mail from Zerodha BB order placesed sucessfully? Did you got contract note from zerodha and post BB intimation from registrar which will show how many shares are accepted and how much money will be credited. If all this is "Yes" and happened, then contact zerodha telling your problem If no, it might be you made some mistake in order placing or broker made a mistake, and your order might actually not got placed.
in previous cases, market wasn't in bull run for previous 2 years
So recovery should take time(logically)
let the dust settle down a bit and then invest
Market anyways was going to correct( inflation)( Fed tightening), now it has even more reasons to do so especially Indian Markets We are highly reliant on OIL to fulfill our energy needs which crossed 100$ mark and our Deficit is also huge(around 9%)
These all are negative signals and because of the above mentioned reasons, I believe, currently it is not the right time to bottom fish
The year is gonna be sideways movement, up and down and up and down
Kindly like the post if you find it useful

I am fairly certain that it will not come to that because that will mean a lot of loss of lives and property Destruction of a scale that is hitherto unknown
Both sides are nuclear capable and nuclear war is not an option
That will simply mean annihilation of Russia and Europe which is in no one's interest

Acceptance Ratio तो बाद मे final होगा, पहले Entitlement Ratio और buyback period की घोषणा की जाएगी . Chances - Tender date may start around 10 -15 March. AR - may be 30-50 % (just hoping)
