Last time TCS was buying 33% more (5.33cr) shares and buyback price was less than 10% far from market price and so less interest to buy for buyback too
@lokes I have only 1 share of TCS in demat before record date, but in e-mail ER showing is 0 only, but as far as I know,1 share should be accepted in BB 110%, Thanks
I have 10 shares of TCS on record date and TCS mail shows Entitlement of buyback as 1 share. Please guide whether it is final entitlement? How it has been decided without surrender of shares by entitled shareholders?
@ksrk, @lokes @noorul...can anyone help...I have 44shares in icici dmat for tcs but haven't got any mail related to tcs buyback tender offer...what next to do?
You are very lucky compared to people like me who bought more shares only for buyback and get to tender only AR 25% shares. Rest of the shares will depend on market. You either get 700rs profit or just a small loss 👍
@sdz How I am lucky sir I have 27 shares in one demat 44 in 2nd 8 in 3rd 3 in 4th 1 share each in 3 different accounts . I just wanted to know about these 3 accounts in which I was holding 1 share
ER 14% on 0.60cr shares through retail buyback means about 4.3cr shares (1.16% of total shares) are held by retail shareholders on record date. Now AR depends on how many out of these 4.3cr shares will be tendered by 23Mar. I think many investors will sell non-entitled shares in open market if share price doesn’t cross 3,700 by 23Mar, as there will be further downward pressure after tender period close.
As you fall in general category it is showing zero, there is different ER for general and retail. In retail it is 1 share per 7. In general I am not sure. This doesn't mean you are eligible or not, you can tender but it is on luck now that even if one share will be accepted out of total.
Can anyone help me with this query I am willing to participate in TCS buyback by tendering my shares... it's my first buyback participation....my shares are in Groww app....does anyone know how to tender the shares, I have got the mail regarding tendering from the registrar with Letter of offer and tender form...if anyone knows how to do please do reply... I'm having the shares in Groww app Thanks in advance
Yes Rajkumar Bhai I have contacted the customer care long back, they said that tender form need to be filled with all the necessary particulars and signed then scanned and to be mailed to support@groww.in I'm asking whether anyone have previous buyback participation experience with that broker
It's a tedious process and needs to be clarified by groww but you will need to send tender form (fillin manually) and scanning that copy to groww support
