"The meeting of Board of Directors of the Company will be held on Thursday, 31st March, 2022, to inter-alia consider Buy Back of the fully paid-up equity shares of the Company," GAIL said in a filing.
Last year it was through the Tender Offer . AR is 100% in Retail Category. I have sold even @ Rs.152.65 in the open market before tendering for the buyback against the buyback price of Rs.150/-.
I surrender only 7 eligibles entitles shares as i sold on ex record date and all 7 share accepted as per contract note. First buyback experience amazing.
I have also applied from Groww.Today Groww customer care has confirmed that the, surendered shares are earmarked and will be debited as per acceptance ratio.
The acceptance ratio is not 26% but it's 20% for retail and 2-3% for non retail. Details of my family accounts below: AC 1 : Tendered - 45 : Accepted - 9 AC 2: Tendered - 25 : Accepted - 5 AC 3: Tendered - 136 : Accepted - 3
My broker was Zerodha. I tendered 40 shares from 1st account, acceptance for 10 recd. 2nd account- 32 tendered, accepted 9. Email from Zerodha this morning. (Saturday 26th)
12 shares accepted out of 49. Today morning shares debited from by Groww account. Can we accept that money will be credited to our savings account within Monday?
Hi everyone, I have tendered 18 shares for TCS buyback through zerodha. But till now I didn't received debit message from CSDL. And also checked the CDSL, there also tcs shares of 18 are in holdings. Can anyone suggest what is the reason for same. And is there any chances that my accepted shares will debit on Monday.

This makes sense. My accepted shares (Zerodha) match this calculation. What's strange is in another Demat account (Groww), I'd 6 shares. This didn't even get an entitlement note. (Maybe because its 1:7 entitlement ratio) But I see in Groww now 4 shares are available. If 2 shares are accepted, then it would be 33.33% acceptance ratio. Any rationale behind this?
Many people's are claiming that AR is exactly 26% but I don't think it is true almost every friend of mine was holding 50 shares in 18 accounts. In 15 accounts only 12 shares were accepted looks strange and in only 3 account 13 shares accepted ( all of them have account in upstox so came to know how many shares accepted ) So if 13 out of 50 shares accepted then AR is 26% But in most of cases 12 out of 50 shares accepted so AR will be 24% And read many msgs where 10 out of 44 shares accepted which makes AR 22-23%. So it is pretty confusing but one thing is for sure AR is not exactly 26% might be 24-25%
10 quantity debit huvi eska email aya very bekar raha tcs ka buyback wala plan 34 abhi bhi pade rahe ge uska kya kare ge avrge karne bhi jaye ge to Bahu labe ho jaye ge
If you have tendered the share you hold on the record date then in no way you can sell it as I also tried it on groww only it shows that you have all the share but I no way you can sell it. you can try with 1 share.
I applied for 250 shares for buyback in general category. Only 6 shares were accepted. I received the SMS just now. The news in Economic times is vague and also not mentioning about which category, "13 shares for each 50 shares" is confusing all investors of general category.
Hiw everyone is coming to know about allotment?? I applied through Zerodhaand have not received any money in bank account or zerodha? I tendered 20 shares.can anybody advice??
