How will it work? Is it like they debit all the tendered shares from Demat Account and recredit the balance after aceepting eligible shares? Or they will debit only eligible shares from DP? Because all my 44 shares got debited from my Demat account. As on date my holding shows as zero in DP.

Only 4 shares debit from 20 tendered. Check your mail for contact note. They will first debit all. Then credit remaining. And whatever is bought the amount will transfer to your bank by 31st.
number of shares you hold decides the category in which you will be considered for buy back. 136 is high number hence not retail, so acceptance ration for your offer is low. I think around 56 is considered retail. If you have less than 56 then your acceptance ration would have been high.

Accepted shares per tendered shares is in the below table, when all buyback eligible shares on record date were tendered and from single Demat account only
1 to 7 - 1 8 to 12 - 2 13 to 16 - 3 17 to 20 - 4 21 to 24 - 5 25 to 27 - 6 28 to 32 - 7 33 to 36 - 8 37 to 41 - 9 42 to 44 - 10 45 to 47 - 11 48 to 50 - 12 51 to 54 - 13 55 to 56 - 14
Additional ratio for non entitled shares is around 11.5%. Ignore anamolies due to excess shaded distribution like it happened in 50 shares, accepted 13 for some and only 12 for some.
for my icicidirect, 4 out of 10 are accepted, for zerodha 2 out of 9 are accepted. I have 10 in kotak securities, not sure how many are accepted from there, the count is not reduced in kotak securities.
1/1 accepted from my icicidirect account...didn't want to surrender the share but just applied for getting buyback experience... i have more shares but didn't apply
And now Buyback has also lost charm just like IPO's, thanks to ever increasing tech & info reaching across all types of investors. New age digital brokers pitching in hard about arbitrage opportunity to new age investors.!!!
@sdz Yes sir people who were holding just 1 share applied the most that's why ratio of acceptance is less I applied 1 share from 3 accounts all got accepted
@Vibhor Saxena - How do you know, how many stars were accepted? Did you receive an email from TCS or registrar? I had submitted 50 shares but nothing yet?
