Total number of shares in retail 24000 Total number of bids recd till now 60000 in all category. Assuming no one get entitlement ratio of 1 shares in retail quota, the acceptance ratio of 1 shares is out of 2.5 investor. Is it correct?
Most likely, retail allotment will be 100% by lottery and no one will have more than 1 share accepted. There are only 24K shares to be bought in the retail category and the number of retail shareholders is more than 245k. The maximum number of shares to be eligible for retail category is 46 and the ER is about 1 in 63. So, no one will get confirmed acceptance and as long as at least 10% of shareholders tender shares, 100% of shares in retail will be allotted by lottery ( one share each).
ER is just 8% Hope AR is better and above 40%. Due to market conditions tough to guess. I exited @173 and think it was good decision in such turbulent times.
Yes AR will be around 35 to 40% .. it was good decision to exit st 173rs. I also sold 50% at rs 171.. Will go through buy back cycle for remaining 50%.. hope remaining unaccepted shares are only profit -free shares...

@coldburger Exit at 173 was wise, you are making good money than participating in buybacks. This time AR will be less than 25%. Congratulations to all who skipped it
@coldbu.... You exited at right time, we failed to do so. AR about 35 to 40 is just like daydream. Considering market situation 20-25 is reality. I again repeating those days of buyback are gone.
Total retail quota is 8547820, individual bids 56099189 shares. assuming 40% of individual investors are retail, AR comes to around 38%.. let's see how will the final AR ..
Amit Sir, Thank you very much for your update regarding the bids submitted by individual investors and your assessment of the AR in respect of the Retail Category.
@KAMMA SIVA RAMA KRISHNA Please guide when we can expect the record date for buyback. . . and how much shares one needs to buy to be eligible for retail category ?
According to me it should be less than 400 Shares as BB price is 500/- 400 * 500=200000 Correct me if i am Wrong . . .
1. Record date will announce after on/after 30 june. 2. For eligible in retail category. Your bsoft shares holding value must be under 2 lakh on record date. I think 500 shares enough. If price of share cross 400 on record date thn need to reduce quantity 450-480.
On June 1, I sold the 500 shares I was holding. Can I buy some back before the last tender date and offer them in the buyback ? Will the number of shares accepted depend on the number of shares offered or only on the number of shares held on the record date ? In other words will it make any difference to the number of shares accepted from me if I offer 50 vs 100 shares ?
@Kamma. Thanks. The offer says 2 shares for evey 25 reserved for small share holders and 2 shares for every 179 reserved for others. What does this mean? Does it indicate that I must tender less than 2 lakhs value to eligible for 2 for every 25 offer? Thats where I am confused
Its value of shares as òn record date. Since you have more than 2 lakh worth shares on record date, You are in general category so your eligibility is less than retail investors But still tender full shares so you will get maximum benefit
