I missed this golden oportunity of this buyback..only god knows how I will I cover the cost when my buying cost is 168 and stock is trading in 130s and I forgot to apply on buyback..that 7-8 days window was quite less and some how I checked just after last date
My a/c is in growww. I have one IndiaMART share in my Flat a/c and same was I sold on 10th may and debit message from CDSL received on 12th May. Mail received on 23rd from IndiaMART for buyback. But now I want to apply, but grows site are showing that you have not owned any share on record date means 11th may. Talk to customer executive they are responding that same that you sold on ex date hence not entitled for buyback. From link time I download tender form where my name is showing as shareholders on record date. Now what will I do???
If you owned the shares before the ex buyback date, you should be able to tender them. The determination of who is a shareholder on the date of record is to be made by the company and not your broker. I would suggest changing your broker if they can't deal with basic issues like these.
@AJAY V ,the record date for the buyback is 11th May. That means if he bought the shares on or before the 9th of May ( T minus 2), he is entitled to participate in the buyback. If he wasn't eligible, he wouldn't have received the email from the company.
For selling on 10th, you must have bought them atleast 3 working days before i.e. 7th because you can't do BTST for getting your name into list. On 10th, you must have share in your deemat account, then only after selling it the settlement is done by 12th and hence you have share till 11 th, so name appears in list. This might be the issue.
If you have received the mail from registrar, then you can download tender form from registrar website, take printout and send to above mail is. May be you will get respond
AR will generally be higher than the ER. Hence, submit all the shares held by you on the Record Date as you may not loose anything by doing so but there is a possibility of accepting one or more shares. All the best.
In theory, there is a possibility of accepting shares, but in this case, given the difference between buyback price and current price, you can expect almost 100% tendering. At the most, someone with zero shares eligible will get 1 share accepted. The downside is that the shares will be locked up between the date of tendering and the end of the buyback, so they can't be sold during this period.
Hi what could be AR.... I don't think there is any excitement around this buyback... So ar would be around 20 percent at least because not everyone will tender?
What makes you say there is no excitement around the buyback ? Has anyone who owns eligible shares told you they don't plan to tender them ? The stock is trading at a significant discount to buyback price and I expect almost everyone to tender their shares. So, AR should be very close to the ER.
Hello experts , Something happed in my gail buyback case. Holding on record date : 270 shares Got mail ER about 21 shares. I applied 60 shares. Now as Retail AR need to be accepted all 60 ( 270× 24.5% AR = 65 ) But they accepted only 28 shares. Now where to ask this matter.
Sir, They have correctly accepted 28 shares as detailed below. You have not rendered all the shares (270) held on the Record Date but rendered 60 shares only. At the first instance, they have accepted the entitled 21 shares. Out of the remaining 39 shares (60-21) additional proportionate accepted shares are 7. That’s why, i have been advising to tender all the shares held on the Record Date. Unfortunately, the investors are not taking care of the methods of the acceptance and are not getting the maximum benefit. Next time, take care. All the best.
Thank you very much sir , After record date always share down 8-10% so sold out shares. Anyways now understood method of acceptance. Surely take care in zydus, bsoft & matrimony.
Sir what about bsoft general category ER-AR as promoters not participate can we expect ER-AR more thn retail small share holders category.
U are not eligible to claim under "Retail Investor" as the value is more than Rs.2 lac. But for Retail Investor depends on lot size AR will be 38% to 45%
