Yes. Anyone who holds minimal 1 share on record date is eligible.

But the AR is around 9-10 percent means 9 shares buyback for every 92 shares held.
Will all the 6 shares will be able to go for buyback?

Actually, I had posted for Teamlease (not symphony) where almost 33000 new shareholder had come with only 1 lakh increase in shares, so most of them were holding less than 2 shares. Because of this, now that strategy may not work.
And if this pattern continues, it won't work in most other buybacks too.
Then it is going to become pure lottery each time, with decreasing probability.

so please stop sharing this strategy with your friends. It may lead to losses. Imagine that strategy not working in shares like Kama Holdings, if price went down by 1500₹, and you had applied through 10 accounts, it's a loss of 15000.

And now-a-days, some Promoters are dumping shares during buyback time, either from their legal holding or their illegal holdings. So, buyback can become a dumping ground on retail holders.

Some facts on buybacks:

Some buybacks take longer than others. Ex: in 2020 Granules India, took 75 days for approval, in 2021- Smartlink Holdings took 60 days, In 2022- Care Ratings and Triveni Engineering took 60 days. It has only been 50 days for HGS- 35 working days, out of which 6 holidays were there.
