A small correction. Indv investors would include those holding above 68 shares as well. Thus the AR in retail could be much higher, and could be 80% or so as being predicted otherwise

There were more than 10,00,000 investors with holding less than 68 shares i.e no of retail investor on record date but less than 2,00,000 has taken part in buyback. As per this 100.00 percent acceptance in retail category is expected

Expert please advice on my questions,

I'm holding 19 shares of price @900

1) if I apply total 19 for buyback how many minimum and maximum can be finally buyback ?

2) buyback amount is 3200.
So, (3200-900) = 2300 per share profit will be there.
So this total 2300 will be exempted from tax ?
Or need to pay tax.

3) I want to hold it for long term. So, whatever ratio possible that much share should I buy from market and apply for buyback for 5-10% gain. Or can just hold whatever I have 19 share ?

Pls check company website and email to the investor grievance email and they will respond. If your email was regd, you must have rec'd offer letter. Check that and can contact registrars

Do you still have physical share certificates???
As far as I know, the government and SEBI have asked all the companies for the past few years to convert all the physical shares into a Demat format.
I suggest converting all your shares into DEMAT format as soon as possible.

@MaheshJain The profits from buyback wont be taxed as gains from buyback is exempt as per section 10(34A) of the Income Tax Act for the shareholders.

am having demat account with IDBI Bank and trading platform with Phillip capital, can i transfer the shares from IDBI to phillip to offer buy back , can this be accepted since dmat account number is different during the record date time
