Did you apply from multiple accounts? I had shared in 2 accounts and also got one less share as compared to had I all the shares in one account only.

I had 40 + 8 and 13 and 2 got accepted.
I believe had there been 48 shares in single account, it would have been 16

No, I had 57 shares on record date in a single demat account under one broker one account. Still the accepted shares in one less than the other person who only tendered 55. 18/57 vs 19/55 How is this possible? @admin plz help

Before Buyback I had 192 shares in single deemat account. After getting news of BuyBack, I thought to buy 8 more shares to make it 200. But later I came to know that, by doing this I will fall into General category where the acceptance ratio will be around 2% max. So thought of transferring shares to deemat accounts of my family members, I transferred 56 shares each to 2 deemat accounts, and kept same 56 in mine, and sold the remaining ones. So, now I had total 168 shares from 3 deemat accounts with 56 in each. I assumed that TCS share price will not cross 3570 on record date, hence I chosen 56. So after yesterday's 35% acceptance ratio, 19 shares from each deemat account were accepted. Now I will trail the remaining shares with price of 3600. So, I can say TCS BuyBack 2023 was a great deal for me.
