Zerodha dmat holders can not apply online as dp space in intwrnet bankibg of sbi/icici is greyed out Means tou need respective bank dmat to fill the form online. Clerk at Sbi main pune refused to accept form at 2.10 PM telling timing was upto 2 PM, Looks fishy.

Your demat account is 16 characters long. First 8 characters are your broker ID and last 8 are your client ID. You need to put your client ID as application number. Your right entitlement must be in that account. This has been confirmed by the registrar itself.

Go to ASBA section of your dmat account linked bank and subscribe as you do for any other IPO .... enter the no. of shares as many as you have credited in your dmat through rights issue... All the best!

I have bought 25 shares on Right issues on Feb7 .In Feb 8 it is showed in my DP account 25 QTY and T+1 . It is automatically moved from my account on FEB 9.

If no application is made by the purchaser of REs on or before Issue closing date then such REs will get lapsed and shall be extinguished after the Issue Closing Date. No shares / other securities for such lapsed REs will be credited, even if such REs were purchased from market and purchaser will lose the premium paid to acquire the REs. Persons who have bought Rights Entitlements (REs), shall require to make an application and apply for shares / other securities offered under Rights Issue, if they want to subscribe to the shares / other securities offered under Rights Issue.

I have Zerodha account , I have applied Right issue from ICICI Direct facility via netbanking. I have entered my Zerodha DMAT account details whie applying. But there is no email triggered so, I am not sure if this has been applied . I would like to know from where money would be deducted post allotment ie, ICIC or Zerodha wallet

The application can be be made through a bank with ASBA facility. You cannot directly apply from Zerodha. Login to your bank account and look for the page from where IPOs are applied from. On that page, typically you will have an option to apply for rights issues. You should see Indiabulls rights issue listed there. When applying, you will need to provide the Demat details which you can find on Zerodha > Console > Account > Demat page. You should apply for exactly the same number of RE shares you are allocated. Make the payment and you are done . Hope that helps.
