@ashish: In buyback, whatever shares you are tendering, all shares will be debited from your broker account on tender end date, it doesn't mean they are accepted. Whatever will be accepted here in buyback , suppose 50-60 shares are accepted (you will come to know by 21st Jan around by mail from registrar) then remaining shares will be returned to your broker account on 21st Jan or 24th Jan around.

@Lokes We cannot be sure what will be the case with TCS. The moment i saw this new flash from Money Control i bought what i could from available margin in hurry as if i got the news first and price will shoot like rocket😀😀😀😁 foolish me.

Please give me Federal bank view, I was to exit on 101/- but did not seeing earning release date approaching. Can I bet for 110 level? Holding 1k.

@coldburger: like you, so many retailers must have bought today, you might be agreeing to this, still you can see price appreciation was not much today , it even dipped once near to yesterday closing price.
And if tcs price will reach 4200-4300 suppose during tender offer or before, then in retail category, it can even have 100% AR ratio like previous times. I had participated 2 times earlier in tcs buybacks.

And i don't have federal bank neither i track it but looking at charts, its have given good upmove in 1 month and showing strength still, so you can keep holding it till before results with some stoploss like 99.5 to protect profits and better sell before result day, since mostly when some share had very good run up before results, then even after good results, it fall normally on result day or later.

Thanks for the suggestion @MK. I will try to buy as much i can hope AR will be good as it is a large Buyback (did not study based on total company share). Gem like Aniket ji give fantastic view for ER/AR but for some reason we are deprived of his views in recent past. Still since 15% margin is there and company good i can buy without fear.

Waiting for Moil money to be release ..hope that happen sooner.

For this Buyback, only NSE is designated exchange. So you will be able to see the details on NSE. All share tendering will happen from only one exchange and this is NSE

Just saw a news notification and bought 11 Qty. only, had bought 100 Wipro before seeing the news so less amount was available. Will buy some more to make it around 20. I expect it will reach 4500 in market also like Wipro had done.

you need to buy shares upto 2 days before record date (below 2 lakh amount to be under retail category which has 15% reservation so generally more shares are accepted back by company in retail category)
you will get mail from registrar after record date is over for your eligibility and shares holding on record date. you can place order from your broker site for all shares as holded on record date as per mail. In buyback mail, dates will be mentioned for tender period upto which you can tender shares in zerodha. Also read below link info in zerodha. Fir other brokers, you can call them to know how to place order for tendering shares when buyback period opens.

this is what i found for upstox -->

Login into keystone.upstox.com with your client code and backoffice password
Click on “Account” on the top of the header line
Click on “Buy Back/ Turnover” from the drop down
Click on “Apply” and enter the quantity

Submit the request when the buyback date is open. Currently Nucleaus is open for tendering shares....check in your account if it is showing.
