@ankit zerodha And also money received in 2nd bank account also still pending for 1 accountβ¦..donβt worry amount will be credited in your account anytime
Some broker/bank take more time in this process. I have not received money (zerodha/PNB). In case of MOIL buyback, money was credited in my trading account with zerodha rather than bank account.
https://console.zerodha.com/portfolio/corporate-action-order-window In zerodha , its written as:
The TCS buyback orders will be collected between March 8, 2022 and March 23, 2022. While you see the offer end date as March 16, we will reopen the order window on the 16th until March 23.
Owing to the large number of client applications anticipated for TCS buyback, the orders will be placed on the exchange starting 17th March 2022 until the closure on 23rd March 2022 for the orders collected until then. Please make sure to maintain sufficient holdings in your Demat until the order window closes. The status of the orders placed on the Exchange will be communicated over an email.
@lokes ..Great to see you active again. Just want to ensue if i tender on 22nd in Zerodha then it will be fine. Since AR is expected to be less than 50% I want the option to open market sell active. Market is recovering in bits so still have some faith of price reaching 4100 before 23rd.

No,Its 23/3 until 1/30PM is the last date/time in Zerodha no.1
@ColdBurger : yes you can tender on 22nd march also from zerodha....just dont forget.....it will even open again on 23rd march till 1.30pm.... there will be no impact either you tender in starting or now or on 23rd.....all will be same thing.....
IMPORTANT: As per Zerodha site only up to 21st March the order will be collected. Even if they mention 23rd March but tender offer line show only 21st March. Wonder if they started take some cheap weed?
@lokes... Yes may be they open again on 22nd..but no sch notice seen. As if market turmoil was not enough they have started their own tantrums ...much to the worries of novice investors. ** Hope their data structure don't have the limitations in storing high currency valuesπππππ
@lokes I finally submitted from my both accounts keeping in mind they still show 21 March as order sumbit last date. Not much price change can happen in next two days. It is not a freaking pumping vedanda stockπππ Exited vedanta (forgotten GTT) and I lost good profit.
ya its normal, in zerodha they normally block the shares on last day of buyback. Here in tcs, they are accepting buyback orders in 2 parts as informed in older message....so they may block your shares on 16th march may be.
I reply having experience in precious buybacks placed via zerodha... If you are able to see the "Cancel Order" option then you do not have anything else to do for now... Your shares will be debited on the last day of Buyback window closure. Zerodha does not debit on the day you place order.
if operator play happens and i get trapped, i will hold these shares In high liquidity stocks like TCS operator play is quite difficult in my opinion as liquidity is huge and there are many investors who are anxious to press the buy button on good stocks available at a discount
If it comes to 3150(operator play and not due to general market correction) and infy remains at 1700 levels then i will shift my position from Infy to TCS and i have considerable stake in Infy currently
@lokes bro what will u do with your shares ....will u sell them tomorrow or day after tomorrow to buy back again ..or u will continue to hold irrespective of price movement...thanks
@have faith: as i mentioned earlier, selling tomorrow may be riskier and may depend on broker too so better everyone should be sure about his broker that the broker will not remove shares by 23rd evening if they sell tomorrow (as it happens with some broker) then you may not be eligible for buyback. But if broker is removing shares from your demat on 24th then its fine. Selling on 23rd will be safe in all cases normally. In my opinion, from some weeks, tcs was holding above 3700 due to buyback only, and in next 2 days it should go down upto 3550-3600 at least minimum, rest depends on market movement also. And I will keep holding my shares and will not sell them in next 2 day and i may buy some shares if getting around/below 3500 rs on/after 23rd feb and then i may sell later, whatever buying extra, if getting price around 3900.
@have faith: Considering there is no prior tcs purchase in any of demat/PAN, then either you buy all 1.8 lakh amount shares from 1 demat/PAN or either you distribute that amount in any ratio in three demat/PAN , then its same thing. Shares will be accepted as per same acceptance ratio in retail category (upto 2 lakh). 1-2 more share acceptance may come if you buy/tender from 3 different account (60K each account) instead of buy/tender all from 1 account but its more headache to manage etc.
Thanks @lokes .... One more thing how much fall r u accepting after record date as CMP is near 3700...... Selling share after record date and buying before buy back date is possible as first time I am going for buyback
@Have faith - what lokes ji suggest is quite correct. 1.8 lac from 1 account or 0.6lac each from 3 account is same. Managing 3 account is headache. But there is one more trick you can try. In this big buybacks(where share price value is large), its generally seen that 1 share tendered is generally accepted for mostly. So u can do following: Account 1 - Buy 1 share - Tender 1 share Account 2 - Buy 1 share - Tender 1 share Account 3 - Buy shares with remaining amount(around 46) - Tender all share
This trick will have you 1 extra share accepted. If for simplicity we assume AR is 50%. Then you acceptance will be 1+1+23=25 shares
If you buy all 48 shares in 1 account, then your acceptance will be 24 shares
Lets assume average buying rate is 3700. So u will have 4500-3700=800rs extra. Small increase in profit, but profit is profit. Market taught me this, however small profit is, go for it if you can.
Please note, "its generally seen" that single shares gets accepted mostly. But this is not rule. Possibility is it might not accept as well. In that case this trick will fail.
