Lokes ji, A very disappointing trend being seen. I am also hopefully looking for the outcome of the buyback. Somehow, I am hesitating a lot to purchase shares for the buyback purpose nowadays and missing them. Earlier, I used to purchase shares with out waiting for a long time. I wonder how I became that much over cautious. Looking forward to enjoy the fruits of benefits soon in the buybacks. Thank you.
@KSRK sir: ya in many buybacks, ER ratio was bad and on top of that share price movement after record date is very un-favourable in many buyback issues. Looks so many new people jumping in buybacks and buying shares only for buyback purpose is also impacting this. That's why also i didn't liked to discuss buybacks much on mainboard ipo's since so many new people will think it as easy money and keep trying here also which will definitely impact on ER/AR. Whoever already participating from long time and have interests can discuss here also anyways.
Lokes ji, As you have rightly mentioned, disappointing AR and sharp downfall in the price of the shares after the Record Date in most of the cases are the main contributing factors for loosing interest in the Buybacks. Thank you for sharing your views.
Prices going down drastically is a big concern on almost all the recent buybacks coupled with not-so-encouraging AR. I realized nowadays, we may get 1 chance (like Goldiam or eClerx) or none (like Star Cement) to exit a profitable buyback trade. I will be cautious in upcoming buybacks and will exit given any opportunity on Star & Goldiam.

Unknwon ji, Star Cements, Goldiam, Aksharchem, SH Kelkar, Nucleus,……. almost all are not investor friendly. Losses are likely to be accumulated. Please be watchful and participate in the selective buybacks. All the best. Thank you.
