Bought a few more today. Probably my final purchase for the buy back.

I will buy some more shares today and on Monday. Hope those shares qualify for BB

@avinash: As informed in earlier messages on this current page, evoting will be there and ongoing. For most IT companies, evoting happens in buyback.
IPOINPUT:You can purchase tcs shares upto 2 days before record date, to be eligible for buyback and record date is still not announced.

Record date will be announced on 15th feb after evoting results and record date will be probably around 21st to 25th feb any day.

Thanks @ lokes I am buying in all accounts regularly. Right now the average is a little below 3800. even at 50% AR the price of remaining shares would be 3100 only. I will hold remaining shares and buys big quantity if it goes to 2800. I know TCS will again do a buyback after two years and the price can be 5000 that time.

What is the record date for TCS buyback? Was it January 21? I read one article in Financial express which states the record date is January 21
Please help.

Since you and many members are recently asking the same query, Here is the recap for the benefit of all members new on this BB page :

a) 20 January 2022 was record date for payment of third interim dividend of Rs 7 per share. The dividend will be paid on 07 February 2022.

b) Currently E voting for buyback approval is going on (commenced on Jan 14) which will end on 12th Feb.

c) The results will be announced on February 15, 2022, consequently they will be announce record date.

What is the record date? Will I be eligible if I by today? Financial express says the record dats was January 20

I have 40 shares and received 2 RE shares. Can I still apply for more than two shares using ASBA? Say 10 shares?

Yes you can buy and sell Any number of RE shares till 14th. If you hold any RE share after 14th You should pay Rights Price 133/ RE Share on or before 21st.

Applying through ASBA not now. After 14th for paying Rights price 133.75 we use ASBA

I have a upi ID created using a general BHIM app which is like abc@upi and not abc@bankname. But this ID is linked with my bank account which is further linked with my DMAT account. Can i use this @upi ID to apply in IPO issues ? Please clarify.
