What is the meaning of an "NCD being risky"? The company exists from past many years. Even then does it mean that if profits aren't made, we will lose our money? Thank you!
These NCDs are secured. So, if the company goes bankrupt, you should get your money back with the Board selling their assets. If the profits reduce, they might not be able to give you your interest money in time.
Thanks for the view Navkant. So do they at least give the invested money in time if the profits go down? And if its a secured NCD then why is it risky which such a good coupon rate? Thank you????
