I had placed a buyback bid of 22 tca in Motilal Oswal and now my holding is showing zero.kindly let me know it is usual back practice as I am first time applying for buyback.Thanks

@vantage @harit: it's not correct for every broker.
Zerodha removes shares from portfolio after last date of tender. Till then they will be keep showing in holdings and you can even sell them in open market even after placing buyback order then simply buyback order will fail.
And this time zerodha is doing in two phases, as i explained in my earlier messages here in other threads so whoever placed order by 16th, those shares are debited now and whoever will place buyback order from 17th till 23, those will be debited on 23rd night or 24th.

In case of Moil I think debit was very next day well before offer end date.
