I bought 54 shares like a fool instead of buying 44, will I be considered small investor. If not, what would be the expected accepted ratio for non-retail(non-small) investor? Please advise
Yes you are correct (I saw some other msg) AR for general cat is 10-20pc (it will be announced later ) one can still sell in open sec mkt when price rises. Tough luck Man.
Deepak, I am reading the newly published report from team chittorgargh (https://www.chittorgarh.com/article/buyback-price-and-maximum-share-in-retail-category/548/)abt the fixed price of record date and it is - 3571.90 so that means 2lacs would get you - 55.9 shares and u have 54 ,so its party time, i guess.
Yes Vantage, I can get back my lost sleep now :) Party time to be decided based on acceptance ratio and stock price after 2 months ;) Thank you so much for following my comment and providing the replies.. let's hope for all of us to be lucky!
Sorry, one more question.. Does it mean anyone holding more than 44 shares and upto 56, can apply for buyback qty more than 44 shares? Or is it limited to apply for buyback only with 44 shares though you hold 51 or 54?

Yes,bec the rule is of less than or eq to 2 lacs worth of shares as on record date.
Ppl w/ 44 on record dt can tender 44 (or any number of shares less than 44 as well) Ppl w/ 56 on record dt can tender 56 ( or any number less as well)

You can tender all your shares but you will be considered as a General Category Shareholder and your acceptance ratio will be calculated as competing with general category shareholder and if left out buyback shares in reserved category then your remaining shares will be accepted proportionately.
Thank you Vantage! @Nagavenkata, the question is for retail category. If someone is considered as retail for 55 shares as on record date, I believe can pledge all 55 shares under retail as Vantage mentioned. Hope they wouldn't have different rules for considering someone retail vs pledging.. lots to learn 😊
Thanks, so in simple words - Anyone holding upto 56 shares will be considered as small investor and they can pledge all shares (upto 56) to be considered under retail acceptance ratio for the buyback.
