Government has left a lot for investors by reducing the ipo price.
LIC market cap to EV ratio is around 1.1, which is much lower than other insurance companies
It has good market share and good earnings from share market investments. Future growth may not be much here so for longer term, i am not convinced to hold it and somehow i feel due to PSU tag and government interference in future, it may not keep performing well. Apply here for sure in policyholder and retail, due to good discounts.
