Due to fall in GMP subscription speed slowdown at 2.45 so might be there less subscription what we predicted.

This time my cousin brother applied for 413 lot as per my advice but I think he missed the train being appx 49% of the subscription in HNI. give views is there any probability / chance of getting allotment if no other one applied for this lot.

It depends on additional shares availability, we can't predict without knowing that data.
High chances of non -allotment you can assume, if luckily additional shares are available after allotting to 0.5x+ applicants then only he can get.

Even though the bid is very close, and the number of additional shares required is less, still how many ultimately are available determines allotment​@PLAZA 

As @Gray Is The New Black rightly mentioned, there is no concrete data to determine availability of additional shares. So difficult to put a finger on confirmed allotment

Yes agreed it all depends on availability of shares . One thing I noticed from BOA of various SMES that if Issue is highly subscribed say 500+ then many got allotment even at 46% also. as one case of Owasisi Metals where I think upto 44% lot applied got allotment. actually it all depends on availability of shares at various stage alongwith gape of lots if subscription is 600+ or more and no other bidders there. This is just to update the depth of BOA and to learn something from you all in the new are of allotment procss,......lets hope for best for him....

​@PLAZA @GrayIsTheNewBlack @MuStrFc @rohiitian @M Gupta  & other Sir(s), ek baar SME allotment ka funda thoda explain kar sakte ho kya? Although I don't have funds for like 100+ lots, but samajh to aaye ki kya bala hai yeh.
If HNI subscription is 500x, & I apply for 200 lots, then lottery?
& if I apply for 260 lots, then firm allotment?
& what is that 'odd number of lots' thing? If I apply for say 1 application of 49 lots, & there is no other application in that category, then application not even counted for allotment?
& if I apply with 2 application of 49 lots, & there is no other application in that category, then I'll definitely get 1 lot?

You bid for more than half of the total subscription in HNI category for SME, you get into lottery as the ratio of number of lots you bid to total subscription can be anywhere between 0.5 to 1, thats rounded off to 1, which means 1 lot confirmed allotment.

There have been cases where this ratio has been 0.46 or less than 0.5 and still allotment was received but that is rare and depends upon quite handful of other factors.

As you said if HNI is 500x and you bid 200 lots, and if you are the only bidder for 200 lots, then you are not part of lottery and hence no allotment is received. If there is another bidder for 200 lots, then total bid by both of you is 400 lots out of 500x, so that goes into lottery and 1 out of the 2 gets allotment

In case of 260 lots, not certain but almost confirmed allotment if you are the sole bidder.

49/500 is 0.098 which is less than 0.5, so in case of no other bidders, that lot does not go to lottery, given the total subs was 500x. You need sufficient number of bidders in 49 lot category to make the ratio 0.5 and be eligible for lottery. @Anuwak

In short, there should be at least 0.5x subscription in particular lot category to be considered for lottery.

​@MuStrFc Very nicely explained . if application lot is say 49.64% then it will be rounded to .5 and then fnally rounded to 1 if single application is there . Is it correct or missing something of rounding pattern because i rounded twice ,,,,,

It all depends upon the number of applicants in lot sizes before our bid lot size. If that is less, the proportionate shares available for each lot size results in surplus there by giving chance to 49.6% or maybe 42-43% bidders.

Even 49.64% would not be out rightly rounded off to 50% and then to 1 to give confirmed allotment @PLAZA
