Linkintime me 3rd party not allowed

Third is allowed everywhere. No issue. I even got third party allotment in LinkInTime. Only problem is that allotment success is very low in case of LinkInTime for third party applications. I got 1 out 20+ from LinkInTime.

Can I apply for shares from my account for my brother using ASBA?

Who told you QIB has to hold shares for 1 year,

QIB can sell on listing day, anchor can sell after 30 calendar days of anchor investment days.

Cross check your source.

RII will be more than 1x, any leftover quota will be allocated to RII.

KGKing - I think even QIB have a lock in for 30 days, i may be wrong - others can comment as well. See the last paragraph :

"Qualified institutional buyers (QIB): These include institutions such as mutual funds, venture-capital funds, foreign institutional investors, commercial banks, insurance companies, provident funds and pensions funds.

Under this category, there could also be a sub-category of ''anchor'' investors. These are investors who take part in the IPO before the issue opens for the public. Their applications should be for more than Rs 10 crore and a maximum of 60 per cent of the QIB portion can be allocated to anchor investors.

While allotment to QIBs is on a proportionate basis, for anchor investors, it is discretionary and, on a case-to-case basis. They both are subject to a lock-in period of 30 days from the listing of the IPO."

QIB can sell from listing day, QIB WHO subscribe to Ipo in three days of IOP open dates can sell on listing day.

Anchor QIb who participate in anchor quota subscription can seel after 30 days of anchor subscription date.
