A silly question but😅 please..... I got 10lac in my bank And now in case of oversubscription like 40times in hni. I will get 3 lots if i apply for 120 lots. And for 120 lots money required is around 18lac While i know that money that would be deducted in this case is 1.2lac only so while having a balance of 10 lac can i apply for lots worth 18lac
Ps~ I am asking this because some in comments wrote that they are buying650 lots so have they got 98lac in bank .
@Bhumika, you can apply the LOTS in HNI, whatever the amount you have in your bank account. in this case to apply 120 lots around 18 L in the bank account. Hope this clarifies.
I have not forgotten CCD IPO yet! A lot of excitement & hype for a loss-making new age company! Hope the same never ever get repeated!

CCD is accessable to very few poeple falling in the High Income Group, since there are very few who can afford their rates from the middle class families.
Where as the services of the Zomato are being utilised by even Low Middle Class famililies.
Hence, it may not be appropriate to compare these two companies.
Further, the issue of CCD was not fully subscribed in the cotegories of RIIs & NIIs.
No, becs final share allotment price would be same for all categories. As per rule allotment price can not be different for different categories. I think for employees quota discount is already there.
So even if any employee applied at lower price band and if allotment price final at higher price band then that employee will not get allotment.
Zometo delivery person is not a employee of Zomato. He is just a registered delivery boy on Zomato platform. He don''t get salary from Zomato, he got comission as per number of food delivery he served.
Like ola / Uber driver is no a ola / Uber employee Like lic agent is not lic employee.
hi eagle eye i have applied through can bank i submit my application of zomato at the price band of 72 so now i want to bid at 76 is it possible? my bank hold money which i get message

How come subscription numbers in Exchanges are lower than people posting here? If additional numbers gets added post 5pm, wont the final numbers be informed to exchanges later? If there are discrepancies like this, wont the registrars manipulate in oversubscribed profitable IPOs ?

Anyone know the answer to my above QUESTION regarding FINAL subscription numbers pls ???
price lower range is 72, if you calculate using this value you will get subscription 32.96 as indicated by the exchange. At 76, it will be at upper end 35-36.73.
Where do you see subscription numbers less than what is already reported? I checked in NSE and they are showing the correct figures, just that they show only lower price band numbers. Perhaps they could have included the upper price band numbers also but you cannot call it as incorrect. And these are final numbers at 5 PM on last day. No data can be added after that. Cheers!!
Its not higher. Eagleye numbers are assuming the shares will be issued at @76 where as NSE data is assuming the shares will be issued at @72. That''s what I mentioned in my previous post. Select Zomato IPO from below Edelwiess link . It will show the numbers same as Eagleye.

Please let me know if I am missing something. Cheers!!

Key words from Eagleye post are "The following data is assuming the shares will be issued at @76/- (upper price band)". Whereas NSE is data is assuming the shares will be issued at @72. That''s what I mentioned in my previous post. You can check other websites like Edelweiss which shows same number as Eagleye. I cannot post the Edelweiss link here as admins are deleting it. I hope it is clear now. Thanks!!
Eagle eye gives the best reports of premiums and facts to us.
But on the NII subscription issue I think the correct figure would be 32.93 as that is the amount of subscription at 76. The subscription between 72 to 76 is 34.77 times.

Thanks all for your explanations patiently. I''m still missing some clarity, I understood that this difference in numbers is due to total subscription amount and the different price bids. I''ll work a bit and understand.
I know Eagleeye''s posts are top rated and well respected. I just wanted to understand what I''m missing in calculating subscription data
If shares issue at lower price band then they have to allocate more shares than if they issue shares at higher price. Because Zomato want 9000 cr not less than this.
At price 76 they have to issue less shares than at price < 76. Hence at higher price band number of times NII Subscription is 34.8 X
After anchor At lower price band total shares available 719233522
At higher price ban available shares are 681379126
Hence at higher price band number of times NII Subscription is 34.8 X
And at lower price band it''''s 32.96X

Thanks a lot KDKing. You''ve explained it very clearly :) i din''t notice this point when i used to apply in Retail for many years. So, subscription numbers vary more if issue price range is high
