If there is appetite of 2500 crore worth shares held by RII and HNI then Zomato will be sky rocketed since RII/HNI are only species to sell shares on listing day.

You are mistaken. Most of time QIBs also sell on listing day. See Happiest Mind. Can you imagine the PE which existed around 180 must be reacting to current price

Zomato competitor Swiggy is piloting a direct ordering product , SWIGGY DIRECT in Mumbai and has entered into agreement with resturants partners for the programe
The move comes amid Allegations by Restarunts that food delivery platforms including Swiggy and rival Zomato are charging exorbitant commissions
i had given buy on this stock before the Ipo openened ,
but now i find that shakey hands have also applied in this IPO
In retail category Markets are at peak and ready to go down
any moment ,bears are waiting ,
Many brokers have now digested the big party feel that the stock
is over valued , with coin on other side I am going to give a miss in this IPO
no wonder people will criticise or even bark at me ,

Newgen IPOs cashing in on cheap money.

There is nothing called cheap money. In India people are betting on lottery. If there was 50 percent plus chances of getting allotment people back out. Classic case is Gland Pharma or Craftsman.
Dont blame the crowd or herd thinking. It requires bold thinking and willingness to stand to your conviction to apply in issues like Gland or Craftsman (Two issues where i moved application amount to above 2 lakh to get reasonable allotment)

It is not Hava but indicates lower number of IPO applicant pool. Compare to reliance power doing 45 lakh way back now in last 10 years not a single issue crossed 35 lakh application mark
