Bank nifty under pressure -2.5%, Bad day for Yes bank. Still small investors had time in pre opening to exit with 2.5%(Rs. 00.30) no gain no loss as brokerage will be charges on it. Thank god my three bids rejected due to applied from ASBA.

When will the circuit open..

Someone who buying today may seen selling tomorrow or latter too in painic ... Dragging yes bank below 9 label weekend ???

Anyway there is no lock in period and you can sell tomorrow if there is no lower circuit. Also if you wanted to buy it at 12.30 you coudl have got it at 12 in the FPO without any brokerage and other charges.

Tomorrow Yes Bank is announcing its Q1 results. I hope they will show all NPA's and clear their books and will start showing profit from thereafter

~ 26 Crore shares already sold and ~ 58 Crore sell orders already pending. There may be many investors who may not have put sell orders as they know that their order will not get executed today.

Current sentiment is fiercely down. The result date of 1 day after closure of major FPO doesn't instill much confidence in the management. It is possible that brokers/influential people promote the news of positive result while continuing short selling in grey market to gullible people/investors because they know that price trend is downward and if needed they will be able to buy back at lower price later on. I see higher probability of LC tomorrow also and WOULD LOVE TO BE PROVED WRONG BY MARKET TOMORROW.

Do you really think that Yes Bank won't go higher than 12.30 in near future? I believe, it may hit another 1 or 2 lower circuit, but definitely going to start moving upwards within few days.

FPO went under subscribed just to make sure the price doesn't stay above 15 rupees. Now the big players are accumulating at 12.30 and will keep accumulating at lower than 12 as well. Once all the retailers who exit their FPO shares, price will start moving up. This is how majority of the retail investors are always denied to make big profits by the manipulators.

Note: I don't have much risk capacity now, hence placed sell order at 12.30 and will be happy to book 2.75% return in 10 days if the trade happens.

You must check the 100s of penny stocks and you will realise that retail are the ones who hold them in bulk. Not to say YES bank will become one but when a company which had queues to even apply for IPO can reach bankruptcy level (Reliance power) yes bank is nothing.

Don't go by what people say here. You analyse yourself based on tomorrow's results. Check if they have enough cash to take the business forward, check the NPA and its provisioning, double check if really their deposits will ever grows (I mean who would want to keep deposits in yes bank now or even have salary/saving accounts?)

Don't think SBI is a world class management. If they were so good, SBI should have out performed private banks given the reach, brand trust and govt of India backing.

Admin has replied they will open a new thread once they get proper confirmation. They don't want to open new threads without confirmation like they did for SBI card (it was delayed for a long time)

how did you manage to sell at 15+?

@anurup, thanks for your query. I already gave big avoid call for the FPO. But some people are able to exit last week with help of their brokers. But all may not have that privilege.

Now the stock will trade in lower circuit. See what is your exposure, how much you can hold...
