I have applied 300 shares of Wonderla.Whether any one please confirm i get 100 shares for sure ? If answer is no what is the probability of getting 100 shares. Thanks in advance
number of appl. who apply for 100 share are allmost 3 times against 36000 applicants .means every 100 share bidder will not get confirm allotment .ratio for 100 share could be 3:1 .
How do you get the applicant numbers. I could find only shares subscribed for information. on bse and nse site as FII 2.10 Times DII 14.61 Times HNI 159.0 Times Retail 7.52 Times Overall 38.04 Times

1.How do we know the number of applications, as I think the allotment after over subscription will depend on the number of applications and not the number of shares applied. In NSE/BSE websites where I am seeing, the quantity is reflected but not the number of applications made. 2.Is there any point in applying for anything more than the minimum number of shares when the issue will get hugely oversubscribed.
Please reply as I am not familiar with the new system. Thanks
Yes there is benefit even when the issue is highly oversubscribed.
Actually the difference is that Minimum shares allotted will be only 100 shares otherwise you will get ZERO (and it can''t be between 0 to 100). So the probabilty of getting shares increases for the applicants who are applying more.
Eg The ratio of successful Applicants can be like that For 100 Shares 5% FOR 200 Shares 10% For 1000 Shares 50% But they will be given just 100 shares
if issue is highly subscribed like in this case, chances of getting minimum allotment is same for all applicants. The difference comes when, if there are still some shares available, after allocating minimum shares lot to all applications. Remaining shares will be allotted in proportion to those who applied more than minimum lot application.
Seems major subscription has ended and just data for applicants who applied in physical to be entered has left Subscription FII 2.10 Times DII 14.61 Times HNI 159.0 Times Retail 7.10 Times Overall 37.87 Times
