Just looking at IPO data for last 25 ipo in India market day one account for 1/5 to 1/20 of total share applied after 3 day so my guesstimate with VRL IPO ( day one .42 times)will be atleast oversubscribed by 2.1 to 8.4 times in retail side

As per the NSE website, till 4 p.m. the issue was subscribed 0.47 times. The issue size of 1,62,69,006 shares received 76,78,255 bids out of which 34,25,825 bids were at the cut-off price.

At the end of day 1, close to two-thirds of the issue was covered, led by high net-worth investors (HNIs). Stock exchange data shows 62 per cent of the issue was subscribed on the first day. While the HNI portion of the issue was fully covered, institutional investors bid for a little over one-third of the shares reserved for them while retail investors pitched in with over half of their share of the issue.

but if you are looking to apply this IPO, I would say you must go for this one.

In Ahmedabad so far Application Rate for VRL went up to the level of 1350, above it no sauda has been done.
Kindly request my friends who wants to sell their applications in the grey market, should sell between 1200-1350.

Either you have no idea about market at all and you keep writing numbers on your own OR you purposely mislead the community here.

GMP is 76-78 for VRL.

This group is independent investors (many of them new to the market)- your wrong information can sometime have devastating effect on amateur investors (who are impulsive and have lack of market knowledge).

I sincerely request you to please refrain from doing so. Lets all work together to enrich each other instead of harming.

Hi Ahmedabad IPO, information on grey market was wrong... I have no issues with views- that is what makes the market but facts in all cases should be correct. If they are stated wrong then intention is to mislead.

No assurance. If you are lucky you will get. Probably 1 out 10 applicants will get shares.

The new allotment after care IPO assured allotment does not depend on how many share u apply if the ipo is oversubscribed it is luck of draw with the new system however oversubscription is separated for diffrent investor retail hni dii.... So strategy is to apply in as many as accounts so chance of allocation increase and pray retail application is bare minimum

This new allotment is great for small investor even if the iPod is overwhelming oversubscribed take the case of inox was oversubscribed by 18 times and retail by 6 time however 61 of 98 applicant got 45 shares..... So even if vel is oversubscribed 50 times overall however retail stay at low then allotment will good for small investor
