Retail Investor Category Oversubscribed by 8.3 times i.e. for the earmarked 27.45 lakhs of shares , there was a demand for 2.28 crores applied through 179736 applications.
85 shares were allotted for each successful application. i.e for 27.45 lakhs shares and for allotment of 85 shares per application, only 32295 applications were selected for allotment. (32295 x 85 = 27.45 lakhs )i.e Basis of Allotment Ratio was 1:5.565
In VLR logistics case, over subscription is around 8 times. To coclude the basis of allotment one need to know the total number of applications. However, in this case the allotment ratio would be better than Shemaroo since the allotment per application would be 65 shares of VRL vs 85 shares of Shemaroo.
Assuming same number of applications, the allotment ratio could be 1: 4.3

As per my understanding the allotment ratio would be 2 out of 9.

On 1 st day when IPO was subscribed only 0.5 times I said it will subscribe more than. 50 times.
my listing target is 300 to 360/.

It will list arount 270-275.....

Can anyone tell me what is the basis of selecting a specific application. Is it the serial number of ipo form or the dmat account number.

Application number is used for the lottery to allocate the shares!

Read the SEBI rules. Max you will get one lot per unique application (Demat with unique PAN). It''s useless to block funds when the subscription crosses 1.4X.

Now can you tell me which IDIOT gave you the confirm news??

As my calculations in retail category approximately 15:4.

Hope the critics will be silenced by the mindblowing subscription figures.

VRL I applied in HNI Category but their I will not even try!! Checked Financials and didn''t like it. Huge debt, loss making etc. Why risk my money?
