allotment 15:2 appox. (2 person per 15 applied) whether u apply for 1 lot or 15 lot (2 lakh) u will get only 65 shares on allotment allotment details after 1 week of amount deducted from ur account
I''m thinking VRL might list 290-295 and may go all the way to hot 370+ by mid day. Enjoy profits those lucky who will get allotment. But allotment chances quite hard ..
Was there any employee quota in VRL too as provided in all the previous IPOs ? If yes, whether it is fully subscribed ? If not, unsubscribed quota will be added to Retail Investors for allotment.
AS THE SUBSCRPTION WAS TOO HIGH I.E., 74 TIMES THE listing PRICE ALSO WILL BE TOO HIGH. HENCE THE BUYERS IN THE OPEN MARKET WILL BE HIGH LIKE SNOW MAN LOGIC .
Guys, the rule is simple : 80,00,000/65 shares = 1,25,000 nos application to be allotted 65 shares each. Now,the only thing is how much successful application received in retail category. Suppose, 3,75,000 nos application received ,then, 125000/375000 = 1:3 or 1 out of 3 application will receive 65 shares onlyyyyyy
After cut off price retail application is oversubscribed the retail investors’ portion witnessed a subscription of 5.23 times according to NSE. So allotment in favour of those applied at 205 cut off increase. It all depends on how many applications is received
Basis of allotment: For people who have applied for more than 8 lots ( 520 shares or more), firm allotment after dividing by number over subscription ( 7.92). Example if you had applied for 975 shares, you will get 123 Shares. For people who have applied between 1 to 5 lots, it will be lottery.
Dear IPOipo I am afraid that your understanding on Basis of Allotment is not true presently. You are referring to old method of allotment. Recently, the procedure for reaching out the basis of allotment is changed. Please verify and confirm
Your assumption is impractical and baseless. Majority of the retail shareholders are these days single lot applicants due a SEBI rules, which mandates minimum one lot to each retail applicant and then if excess left pro rata. If one lot can''t be allotted also then it will be done using draw of lots. As far as I know from empirical evidence if subscription crosses 1.4 times then allotment through lottery likely.
