@Brahmachari Sahab There is no straight yes or no answer to that question. It depends on various factors like size of ipo, quota for various segments and subscription figures. Generally in bHNI segment successful allottees get Rs 2L worth of shares by deploying over Rs 10L, whereas retail has to be contented with Rs15K only. Preferred application for more chances of allotment and reward is bHNI, sHNI and then retail. However, one needs to be vigilant and evaluate chances ad per the issue. For example, in Vodafone Idea, retail size was massive and subscription could not be changed to oversubscription, thereby got confirmed and full Allotment. In contrast, some of sHNIs were unlucky here as could not get anything in lottery.
