Every first day of listing price can go anywhere subject to demand. After certain high it can stop, but no upper circuit or lower circuit.

Allotment in SME IPO is on proportionate basis. There is no Small HNI and Big HNI bifurcation in this platform.

Thanks You folks. But i am confused with above two responses. Any article where this information is captured would help to confirm?

For example, if you have applied 100 lots (from one account), and HNI category is oversubscribed by say 50 times. Then you will get 2 lots (i.e. proportionate). If you applied 25 lots, then 25/50 i.e. there will be 50 per cent chances of you getting one lot in lottery.

So, basically, the HNI in SME IPO is combination of both proportionate and lottery, depending upon number of lots applied by you and number of times oversubscription.

Just go through Basis Of allotment of 2-3 sme ipo’s things will be much clear.
In HNI, things are not as simple as explained.
Suppose if min lot for hni is 4000 and for retail is 2000.

If total shares available for hni are 2,96,000 suppose and total shares applied are 8 lac

For applications of exact 4000 lots, suppose 44000 shares are applied out of 8 lac total shares applied. It amounts to 5.5 percent.

Now you take 5.5 percent of net shares available for hni ie 5.5 percent of 296000 which is 16,280. Round it off to 16,000 shares.
Now intention is to provide min lot to everyone. So allottment in exact 4000 lot application will be 16,000 /2000 = 8

In this case 8 people will be awarded 2000 lots each.

Similar allocation for all categories i.e 6000 lots, 8000 lots upto max shares applied.

If in your category this number 16000 is less than 2000, no shares will be allocated.

If in your category total applicants are 4 only, everyone will get 4000 shares (2 lots each)
