What ur telling is whether it is ITC, IDEA , ADANI SHARES just catch the running train and jump out on next higher station. Which I think is risky. Ur examples will break the patience of people who buy fr long term. What ur telling are trading views.

@Timbaktu, Remember, In the long run, everyone is dead including these companies (literally when not generating enough revenue or becomes obsolite). While trading or investing, it is more important when you are exiting any company. Definition of investment or trading is arbitrary. Investment can be 1 day or 10-20 years. While trading can be done same day or after a while of holding (days, months, years). As a retail investors ( and as compared to promotors or majority stake holder), we have limited liability towards any company and can leave anytime without anyone taking notice. Dont get emotionally attached to any company.

I still think diversified portfolio like mutual funds is better for small reatilers, in terms of cost effectiveness and return, for long term investment. For people with big portfolios, professional help is still needed to overcome emotional component.

For Fun, any retailers can keep small portfolio, bet in IPOs and enjoy the bull wave. Real test comes, when bear comes (and it will one day) and everything is dull, dark and gloomy.

IPO is for Immediate price opportunity or immense playing opportunity. In absence of these two there is no reason for applying. Somebody says this is for long term, that is for that , based on some calculation , is no good because if it is for long term it means it has nothing at present and you also have long term in hand to decide whether or not.
For these two IPO, it appears avoidable from price point of view but there may be some other point which may ensure either of the two. Its a matter of sense. There is no cut and dried formula.
Somebody may avoid it but discouraging /giving a negative call to others is not justified. Experience with this forum in respect of Gland pharma, kims, sona c, etc signify good calculation but absence of sense.

Krsnaa has 1809 diagnostic centres compared to 80 of Vijaya diagnostics. The former has presence across India and Vijaya is concentrated mainly to Telangana and AP. Face value of Krsnaa is Rs. 5/- whereas this Re 1/-. Vijaya has priced its IPO very high and its full OFS. So, its an abolute no-no. Certainly based on fundamentals, there may not be any listing pop-up.

Here is the correct way to look at it - Vijaya with just 80 diagnostic centres is generating an annual revenue of 540 crore and profit of 84 crore. Krsnaa with its 1800 diagnostic centres is generating a revenue of just 604 crore and only turned profitable in the pandemic year when all healthcare and hospital chains saw a boom in business.

Revenue is Rs. 388 Cr and not 540. But also look at the face value. Anyway, all the best to you if you are so interested.

I saw even experts making mistakes by under estimating south Indian companies. Gland pharma, KIMS also got lukewarm response in retail subscription due to avoid call by many, but they gave good returns after listing, I’m from hyd and I know importance of these company, so I applied even after negative talk. Vijaya diagnostic is the no.1 diagnostic Center in Hyderabad. So go for it. I don’t know whether it is fairly priced or not but I can say it in the leader here in terms of business and having tie up with govt health cards. I saw many doctors refer to get tested in this diagnostic Center only for accurate results. My suggestion apply

Problem with Vijaya Diagnostics is they kept valuation closer to Thyrocare. Nothing left on the table. Just for an upside of 30-40 rupees if market favors.

Vijaya is a promising growth company, no doubt in it.

But temporarily, If Vijaya rises then Investors will be tempted to go with Thyrocare which is a pan-India company compared to Vijaya which is a 2 state company. Thyrocare got stuck due to open offer issues.

For Gland and KIMS there were no Peer comparison obstacles.

The more the Thyrocare rises, the more the upside potential of Vijaya.
If thyrocare @ 1300, then Vijaya can reach 600
If thyrocare @ 1500, then Vijaya can reach 700
and so on ......

GMP 18 +/- 1

18 rs ke liye risk lena bekar hi hai.

Will skip IPO whose GMP is less than 50%

good company but nothing left on the table.

In brief,
If anyone ready to forsake the greed of (uncertain) 1000 rupees (per lot), than there is no harm to leave both the IPO (Vijaya + Ami) unattended.
I am not applying in anyone.

There is a long list of upcoming IPOs. We should carefully select on the basis of quality and valuation. It will bring safety to our investment and also force greedy promoters to rightly price them. So we need not apply on every IPO blindly.

Avoid Vijaya, buy Krsnaa if available @ 920 levels. Krsnaa has got huge upside left in it, particularly after results are declared. I bought Krsnaa @ 870 levels after price stabilization. Its now @ 950. Ina couple of sessions, it will cross 1000.

I have 400 reliance shares in my mothers shcil demat account. What is the procedure to transfer the shares to another account ? Can it be done online without going to shcil office? No one in family is able to find the dis booklet. I want to transfer these shares for covered options from some other discount brokers.

vijaya dignostics hava good margins than krsnaa just because its small size and limited geographical presence where as krsnaa has long term revenue visibility due to its unique ppp model and still good margins. will happy to mis vijaya as better listed players availible
