I want to apply in shni category and am having many doubts regarding it. Experts please clarify my doubts.
1)am applying through canara bank asba
Its showing NOH(nib) and IND (nib) categories. Whats the difference between the two?
2) at what price should i apply ?
Cutoff or some other?
3) is the allotment proportionate or on lottery basis?
4) how many lots should i apply for better allotment chance?

1. IND (NIB) individual category for non institutional buyer will be applicable if one applies as individual
2. Cutoff price is meant only for retail segment. Put price manually preferably the upper band level.
3. Lottery
4. It is upto you. One lot may do the trick if you are lucky.

3 SNII category is oversubscribed APPLICATION WISE so there will be lottery
4 in mainboard IPO there is no extra advantage in single application of more than minimum lot or lots in retail, SNII or BNII category if that category is oversubscribed APPLICATION WISE. U should apply for one lot in retail category or 14 lots in SNII category or 67 lots in BNII category

But allotment % is more or less same

1. My mother has account in TNSC bank but it doesn't provide the ASBA facility nor mentioned anywhere. So can I apply for IPO through upi (mandate) and will the blocking process happen?
2. Which is better to go for this IPO- 1 application of 14 lots or 3 applications of 1 lot each (3 pan) ?

I have been thinking to acquire this counter (from the levels of 80K, ) could not muster courage to enter and now toh ruled out at current levels. Instead, I had made some position in BKT and feel good about the decision. Apart from few accounts of near and dear ones (mostly for IPO purposes), I maintain two main accounts - one is for pure investment purposes where have hardly taken any exit (apart from minor tax loss harvesting issues) and second account is kind of trading account for keeping cash flow flowing. Munh meetha hota rehta hai, aur market mein Dil bhi laga rehta hai. Sahi hai na ?

Bought after the result for q3 was announced on 9th Feb and it went down inmdtly. Target to sell at 160000.
I also do FnO sometimes just for fun and quickest gains
