VI FPO funding objective includes offering much needed 5G services. Let's watch if VI can revive .....

Hello Investors,
I have one genuine doubt. I will appreciate if any one can share their view on these.
VI IPO will close on 22nd and all will get allotment on 23rd night. However the share will be credited on 24th (After Market Hours).
So even though the listing will be on 25th, is there any chance of selling pressure on 24th as well ? Because existing VI share holder who also applied in IPO can easily sale their old share (After getting confirmation on allotment). By this, they can easily book the difference.

@Educated Investor If someone already has holding of VI shares, they are free to sell whenever they want. Nothing special will happen on 24th. Shares, if allotted, in FPO will be credited in demat account. Remember it is always FIFO (first in first out) rule that applies to shares for selling.

@SABOO V No, you will not get it at 10. Instead apply at cutoff price in retail, thereby you will get the allotment at whatever price finalised. In this FPO, price will however be fixed at upper band.

@Basuvr bhai i am using its sim since 2000😃 when it was known as ESSAR then changed to HUTCH then changed to VODAFONE now changed to VODA-IDEA.So im aloyal customer of VODA-IDEA. So being a loyal customer I should get FPO shares at lower price band (10 rs.)with full allotment even if the retail portion get oversubscribed multiple times.🤣😂😉. isn't it.❓😜

Because stock market runs on future earnings and many expecting better performance by Vodafone after fund raising as it already established brand but sector was under pressure after Jio disruption.

Still it's not sure that it will be profitable but investors are expecting it that's why everyone trying to ride the train.
