Office Topic:- How many days it takes to open a Demate/Trading Account in Prostocks?

I have already applied on 1st April 24, but till now my account is not opened. Prostocks staff are telling just to wait for some more days.

3 times KYC has failed due to the reason "XML NOT RECEIVED" by CVL KRA.

I have already 3 Demates in Zerodha, Angel One and Groww and these are running smoothly even account opening was very easy. But now in Prostocks I don't know the reason for delay.

My case is not the unique because as per Prostocks Team some other investors are also facing this problem due to some unknown reasons.

Is there any solution please?

The problem affected all brokers as the new KRA process, which started on April 1, posed significant technical challenges from the government. It is slowly being resolved.

Thank you Chittorgarh Team for your kind attention towards my off topic issue in the group.

Today around 10:30 in the morning, ProStocks Team member contacted me and there was a long conversation between me and him. After knowing the issues, within 2 hours the KYC problem got solved by the CVL KRA due to active efforts made by the dedicated ProStocks Team.

Though it will take another one or two days to open my demat and trading account in ProStocks but the main hurdle, due to which there has been delay of around 3 weeks has now gone away.

Is there any chance of retail quota getting fully subscribed?

For full allotment, where one should apply 14 lot of retail or SHNI .

is there any chance of negative listing .

Very confusing.

UPI is good but by 3 o clock book is obvious as QIB and HNI both are closed
Have seen problem to get UPI message when applied around 3 30. Best is apply early and take a call at 3 30 (hopefully UPI message would have come by that time

It is assured that retail portion is not subscribed fully....
So, why should we apply in BHNI or HNI BIDS going in lottery?

Just apply maximum lots in retail and get full confirm allotment

You are right. However some one who wants to play in ticket size of 1 crore the best bet is bHNI
As of the moment it is not lottery in bHNI but prorata. However you can get a lot of shares if you apply worth 1 crore
You would have to find 50 retail account to get that confirmed allotment (implicit cost)

If you scroll down you will find some post on applications category wise. Using those averages you can work around at time of query
However how number of application knowledge will change your decision
As it is very clear that bHNI is already more than 1 time subscribed and sHNI is near that
Retail is unlikely to be filled on application wise. How does QIB applications matter (they are hardly in 100s)

Don't look at GMP apply bindass there is good profit in listing.

Never understood retail way of thinking
In Vodafone idea best way is to sell existing holding though average value is Just Rs. 8000 approx and apply fresh
May be they don't want to book loss or profit (as some would have certainly bought below current market price)
Why any one sane (retail) is buying in market when he could have same holding 3 4 days later at lower cost
But this is what makes share market interesting. Every one has their own logic
