Ok so I applied for 2596 shares in a single bid will I get only 1498 shares if it is over subscribed???

Please understand
Those who applied for 10 ,not all are unaware of what is meaning of this.
Sometimes it's intended to keep subscription figures upward.
They are willingly apply knowing they were not alloted but those applications marked in total subscription figures.

I feel there is something wrong in these numbers. Total number of shares don't add up correctly.

Can you please explain more how the Risk Reward is favourable?

​@Esparando Agreed, but in this case the sellers are not only from FPO. There are people holding shares before FPO also.

P S:: Anyway I am also applying few lots in RII, I just want to know the experts stand and the reason.

​@Wanderlust Correct. But then, do you think those who are holding stock even prior to FPO will wait to sell their shares till the date when FPO shares would flood the market ?

I do not think so. Logic tells me that if they are not long term investors then they would sell off their stock before sell side supply increases in the market...which is FPO date - coming Thursday.
