Firm allotment who applied 14 lots in retail.

What if I have applied less than 14 lots?
How many lots will be allotted?

retail @ 0.96 times does not mean those who apply for 14 lots (max retail lots) will get 14 lots. They may even just get 2 lots max or even 1 lot...possible.

I think no calculations required. it looks retail gets subscribed fully.

if retail reach 1.2x , then also people who applied for 14 lots will get confirmed 11-12 lots. because application wise retail subscription is very less , close to .25x

May be they are applying at price of their choice

​@Esparando Beg to differ, if retail is subscribed 0.96 times, those who applied for 14 lots will surely get 14 lots. It surely is not going to get over 44L applications and even if amount wise crosses full retail segment of Rs 6300 Cr, those who applied 14 lots will get max shares (say 12 or 13 lots) if not full 14 lots. Remember, in this scenario when shares bid for outnumbers shares available but applicants are not even 30 or 40% of 1 times, allotment will be on pro-rata basis beyond one lot of confirmed allocation to all the bidders in retail.

​@Chhote Lal Yeah, I never thought there would be so much of a difference between the applications & the amount.. I mean, I was counting this as it normally happens in retail segment where huge majority applications come at min lot size.
I myself applied from 6 sHNI and I should have checked the applications as well and not just subscription.

Please DDYD as the allotment will be proportionate in bHNI category as well (as it will definitely be undersubscribed application wise).

​@GrayIsTheNewBlack What is your expectation in BHNI? If one applies 20L / account, what is the likely allotment?

​@rohiitian - I think it is difficult to predict at this point.
But we can say max 5 lakhs worth of allotment for 20 lakhs, eventually I feel it will be less than 5 lakhs but for managing risk we can assume it to be 5 lakhs.

I've applied a few different lot sizes to test - 71/71/93/134/191. Should get anywhere from 10-20L worth allotment looks like @GrayIsTheNewBlack

​@rohiitian - As per the current scenario, maybe 22k+ shares will be allotted for base bHNI application.
Additional shares will be allotted on proportionate basis depending on the size of the application.

Applied 8 normal bHNI + 1 full Retail + 420 lot bHNI + 1164 lot bHNI
Took big bet on this turnaround story, lets see if it pays of or I have to pay the price.

Great sense of humour sir :) The same applies for many I feel including me ;)

But yes one thing why I went full force is I feel that it will not open in discount to the FPO price.

Hope it gives all of us allottees a 10%-15% gain.

One more thing sir. VI is a brand. If we see recent brand name IPO's - Mankind, JSW Infra, Tata Technologies and how can we forget Bharti Hexacom. All of them had one basic commonality- Huge QIB subscription and we had extreme negativity in 2/4 of the above mentioned names.

The only hindrance in VI is it is a loss making company. But loss is PAT loss. If we see at operating level, good operating profit.

Hence I predict a repeat of the story of big brand name IPO's mentioned above :)

​@Diligent IPO Learner The loss visible in books and at least most of the negativity for the time being is already discounted in the share price. One flick of good fortune and this gets on its heels again, which is why the success of this FPO is so crucial for VI.

I placed order in recent ipo via groww at 9:30 AM it uploaded to exchange but later cancelled

So it should allowing now because upload to exchange was showing

It is fpo so there is no pre open in this.

as of my knowledge, groww dont allow pre open as of now

Just for this FPO and Pre open i opened Zerodha acs of all family members (had Upstox and Groww)...

Better to apply as guest from edelweiss site.
