Hello @sahab what we can expect in this case ? Is this positive for listing ?

Huge selling pressure will come tomorrow morning and it may drag the share price below 11... People have to wait for some time to sell their allotment...I am a bit apprehensive...everyone applied following the euphoria but making money won't be that simple...even we can't keep our money blocked for long if price goes below expectations

I don't think so it will be available below 11. If the price is available around 11.20/30 tomorrow then QIB definitely enter and take a all qty from us. Bcz QIB ne itna paisa lagaya hai kuch soch samaj kar lagaya hoga.. So be positive.

10% up and people give 15-16 targets, 10% down on a day and people give below 11/- targets. Crazy...

Going below 11/-, you mean ...

1) People would buy in FPO for 11 and sell in secondary market after two days for less than 11 ??

2) Or you think those holding on to it even before FPO will sell at 11 or below 11/- when they had every opportunity to sell at 14/- yesterday (totally knowing Apr 25 will be a down day) ??

3) Or you think QIBs who applied at 11/- (20 times oversubscribed), will keep watching and not buy when price touches 11/- ??

Anything can happen in markets but we need to talk with some logic.

Many allotes sold today, we have to pledge shares or we have to keep 20 % cash margin, those who sold V I today.
In morning many sold @ 13.65, tomorrow price may be under pressure.

I sold 29800 shares today @MuStrFc . Couldn't sell remaining shares due to some glitch. Not much bothered about tomorrow now.

Can we sell alloted shares in Zerodha by today itself or not because those shares are not credited to my demat account till now. If I select VI share and click on sell and CNC, then what will happen, will the trade will get executed or not. If executed what will happens next.

Kisi bhi online trading plateform se bina demate me huye aap CNC sell nhi kr skte. Order will not execute. ... Bahut se log esa isliye kr pate hai kyuki unka local broker ke pas account hota hai.. Local brokers esa allow karte hai..

Can anyone help me by telling with this cash infusion how much is the cash available per share and how much is the EBITDA margin available per share. This will be benefitial in analysing the valuation and the risk factors.

Dar ka mahol hai. I had applied limited quantity which I can hold for 1+ years or longer. VI turnaround story is very interesting.
It will not shut down for sure but they are laggard in telecom sector. When other players are focusing on profit generating options VI is still upgrading infrastructure.
With this FPO floating share will increase and it's negative for short term. Then they also have fund raising plan immediately 25K crore and addition in may be after an year.
Only positive is increasing price and so ARPU. So if economy support then share price may be 3-4 times in 2-3 years else may remain where it is today.

Sold 29800 shares today with Margin money, remaining shares tomorrow may be at lower rate may be at higher rate...

Sorry for delay in response. The answer was no anyway.

I'm not the senior member but just want to give my opinion.
The negative points of this share are all factored in at price 11 and this is not an sme stock where once it hit LC it will keep on hitting LC so take your decision wisely. Many senior members here have considered all the possible gain and losses and they are acting accordingly. For small retailers you also think How much loss is ok for you and from that point of view you can sell or hold your shares tomorrow.
Just because someone sold their shares today or are going to do tomorrow you don't have to do the same so chill and enjoy the ride if the stock goes up tomorrow.

Time to come back to earth now. I applied in this FPO with a expectation of 15-20% gain in best case to 5% loss to worst case. Seems same gonna happen. Still hoping for a opening around 12.25-12.5 range.🤞🤞

Dear all Senior Members - had a doubt regarding all the talks around Short covering tomorrow (on expiry)

Since it was very clear how the allotment would be, any sane person would have hedged in F&O based on delta neutral strategy. Now after receiving the expected allotment, why would that person need to cover short?
For eg if I had applied for 4 BHNI, I knew most probably I would get around 78000 shares, so I would had sold only 1 future contract or bought only 1 Put option. Now after getting allotment I can deliver these shares (in case of Futures) or the Put option would just go waste (since I bought).

So from where does short covering come into picture?

Idea is under ban in F&O. No new positions can be opened. Presently, the price of the futures is cheap relative to the stock, based on the theoretical relationship between them. When the ban is lifted ( after OI goes below 80% of MWPL), you can expect buying of futures and selling of the shares by arbitragers to normalise this relationship.

​@Chirag Agrawal By that assumption we are taking that every FnO player is ready to deliver if the need arises and before that happens they are ready to put in the required total margin if it gets in the money. This is also assuming the share price will slide down.

Squaring up before delivery in that scenario looks likely.

On the other hand, if the price moves up, not every participant will be ready to give up on the amount of premium if it gets OTM and will like to square off before it becomes OTM, which means buying comes in.
