I don't think LC will sustain. Infact 11.5 should be bottom at most for tomorrow. Why any big investor will let go down and that too when QIB was 19 times.
Just hold your nerve. I have strong feeling it should close above 12.5 tomorrow and within a month should sustain above 14. I would advise to keep only that much position which you can hold without any fear. Best way could be just keep shares of profit amount & hold it for 1-2 years.

Hope AngelOne will allow to sell share during 9.00 am to 9.07 am

and after market opening at 9.15am.

If broker XYZ don't let you sell in preopen

Then Add Balance to your Trading Account. (For Margin)
Then Short Sell (select Intraday) IDEA.

Later after 10 :
1) If ISIN same (new and OLD) covert short sold INTRADAY to DELIVERY
2) If ISIN different: Settle Intraday and Sell new ISIN Delivery.
the price wont be much different.

(Agar price alag ho to muje kuch na kehna. This advice is FREE and a workaround)

Pre-open equilibrium could be at LC. Again after a few minutes when the LC limit applies, applicants might short sell (MIS) and that's when the price would move up and be kept up so that such MIS trades result in a loss. The story could repeat on the next day.

Broad trading range could be 11.25 /15.4/13.35 as center point .Tomorrow trading range can be 12.3/14.3/13.30 as a center point. What's over may be there is 13.3 price tommoro ...Think positive .

If people are selling today, then wouldn't it be a problem since ISIN will be different of fpo shares?
Ruchi soya fpo had this, 2 ISIN number. It was merged after some days.

​@UjwalG Yes sir it is temporary ISIN no. It will be merged with old IDEA ISIN no. in tomorrow morning. As mentioned by @MAMU and also my broker is also telling the same thing which MAMU told in a earlier reply. So best of luck for tomorrow. 👍🤞

For all those saying that QIB will absorb all selling pressure tomorrow, my question is why they didnot absorb it today? Are they expecting to get a better (lower) price tomorrow?

P.S: Allotted 360k shares and holding. But in hindsight feels like should have sold 50% today. Now think will have to wait for few days to exit.

QIB funds are still blocked and refund happens today. Tomorrow liquidity of shares will also will be higher than today!

​@Chirag Agrawal The reason can be if they would've absorbed today then tomorrow many ppl will not sell the shares.
Now because of today there will be panic selling on listing day and many will place sell order at 9 am tomorrow and the price will go down further which can be a great opportunity for QIB to get shares at low prices.

Is isin code is different of this FPO ? this means who have sold shares today will have to settle their trade by buying new shares from market, can't cut their positions with FPO allotted share ?? And that leads to Gap up Opening tomorrow??

It does not make a difference. The Isin would get changed before 9 AM tomorrow. The cutoff time for shares which are sold today is tomorrow 10 Am. Hence can be easily be well managed by local brokers. No buying would happen from HNI who have lightened thier position today. Senior member, guru and mentors can further add on and validate the same.

Since, ISIN of FPO shares is different from Normal shares...... Today's short sellers got trapped.

If it opens on LC then due to that further panic selling will come and at approx 15% next filter, we come to our net cost.

I am planning to hold 3 applications and will gradually sell remaining 7 retail applications but not tomorrow in Pre-Open market.

I currently hold a total of 10 retail allotted apps with an allotted quantity of 1,81,720.

@Experts I would appreciate your advice whether it is advisable to hold onto them for a few weeks or a couple of months before making any decisions to sell.

I always prefer to keep shares of profit amount, along with capital invested. It depends on your % allocation to Idea in total.

Dont worry for Angel / Zerodha etc Preopen.

Use following strategy:

Add new Margin money.

Short Sell IDEA in (intraday).

Later (after 10am) convert intraday to delivery.

Easy.......................

Do not sell any shares in panic, remember! GQG partner invested in FPO and they have proper planning that FPO will give good return in short term and long term.

Tomorrow many big players FII & DII purchase heavy shares qty. from retail investors. FPO will not go down below 11 so no need to worry about it.
If retail investors assuming this investment as Fixed deposit, then FPO must give at least 20% return within one month that's for sure.

@PPPSSS There is a difference in the NSE symbol. What does that signify? Would it bear the same symbol as normal odea shares from the day after?
