Added 5 retail application

Applied for 10 accounts in bHNI.

Got allotted in 4bHNI. Don’t know should I be happy or sad 🥲
644 shares each in 3 accounts and 645 share in one account.

Anybody pls confirm a retail investor can apply for ipos at a time in retail category and HNI ?

Dear Friends how many lots to apply in HNI/NII ( minimum) category to get 1 lot?

In HNI, MIN you get is 14 lots either SHNI or BHNi.
For SHNi, you need to apply 14 lots.
For BHNI, you need to apply 67 lots.

You apply as BHNI or SHNi, based on your risks, funds and holding capacity

Applied two sHNI application , may apply 1 - 2 more sHNI/retail by UPI if HNi subscription crosses 20x.
I have decided not to apply as bHNI, until I see the breakup subscription or unless issue is extraordinary and risk free.

Applied 3 SHNI and 2 Retail.

Is there any change in time for accepting UPI Mandate?
What is the maximum time limit for accepting UPI Mandate?

As i already mentioned in below post, QIB/HNI demand is generally less in t2t category ipos, so here also it won't be much. So if it becomes 3-4X in QIB then also its fine. HNI 10-15X may be fine enough.

In retail, it can applied i think but in HNI category, apply lesser no. of applications in comparison to usual since there might be chances you will be allotted multiple hni applications if you apply multiple and then even with 5% downside, risk/loss will be bigger. I gave my opinion in below post also.

I will be applying here mainly 1 SHNI and 3 retail applications. No much greed, market might be having just relief rally today, nothing much.

@prabhjot: yes even with 10-15x total hni subscription, its difficult to say that how much would be in each shni/bhni category. Even if we knowing actual total subscriptions in each shni and bhni category (not application wise), then also it would be much easier for us to guess application wise subscription in each category, now its difficult to assume how much it would in each category as per total HNI. I will do some research on weekend on available data to find something for future.

And yes you can sell on listing day if allotted, that's why trading will happen. But whoever bought on listing day can't sell intra-day or till next 2 days.

As informed, markets are going down again from high. That might be relief rally after such a fall, no idea how it will perform in near future.
I have applied here 1 SHNI application and will apply 1 more via upi and will decide by monday to accept or not.

1. If i apply through ASBA from savings bank account, do i get bank interest for the period on amount being on hold?

2. If i take a overdraft facility and apply in ASBA do I need to pay interest for the period for the amount being on hold?

To my knowledge, the allotment process for
sHNI is as in the case of RIIs &
bHNI is as usual (old process) which is proportionate.

Is it correct?

If so, no purpose would be served by placing application for 67 lots, as number of shares available to such category is very less on over subscription. In such scenario, is not that application for 66 lots(though it may equated with 14 lots) will have better chances comparing to application for 67 lots.

I may please be corrected, in case I am wrong.

Sir for both sHNI & bHNI allotment process is draw of lots if applications received more than available applications for allotment from their quotas.

I wonder why this page is so silent today.
It is the last day for the best of the 3 issues this week in my opinion.
