@iProfitO... The new rules rules allow bHNI to apply multiple IPOs with multiple bHNI application of 10 L. And this guy has some serious money. He will surely apply six bHNI in PH. :)

And on a serious note, we need Venus allotment details on 19th noon as that will help us somewhat more to decide our application in PH. Unlikely though as it will released late. Prudent data would hardly be of any use...

@spibo.. There are few reasons for beting high on this issue. Significant growth both in top and bottom line, complete offer for sale so money will b use for and business expansion, despite huge sell off and negativity all around its GMP is still alive that's itself matters a lot, small size means not much free float of shares and lastly it has 10 days to go public.. and market can't go in a same direction every day.

@iprofito .. pardeep phosphate is a must apply IPO.. with 300cr annual pat coming at a pe of 7.. consistency in growth.. all makes it a portfolio stock.. I would apply in shni with all my account.. reason I choosed to apply bhni in Venus because size of Venus is almost 10% of PP.

@avenue.. I could hve applied in bhni again but when few months ago I came to know about the new hni allotment rules.. that time only I invest half of my cash in real estate.. so no serious money now :)

@Noorul.. I hope your big bet in Venus pays you well and also hope you arrange some serious cash for PH too...

How much applications required in HNI in this ipo?

Below is mentioned in zerodha ipo application page:

Applications above Rs. 2 lacs in the Individual category are considered in the HNI category. Bidding with cut-off price, cancellation and reduction of bid size is not allowed for these applications due to regulations.

You need to select "Individual Investor" only . Zerodha support have confirmed this when I checked with them during LIC bid time. I think they might have received lot of support ticket on that and added the message as Lokes mentioned.

While we are applying for above 2 lacs in zerodha.. system is showing cant applied not more than 2 lacs

I applied like that only (above 2L) and received the mandate request.
Not sure why you are getting error, may be passed cutoff time ,
At what time you tried ? May be for HNI, cut off time is little early

I think round off doesn’t not take place like how you stated.
It takes place like in the following manner- continuing above example
If 10 people have applied for 126 lots, 3.7 rounded to 3 will be allotted 14 lots each. The remaining 0.7 will be carried till it is above or equals to 1 and then in that category it will be allotted to an investor.

@ipo stonks...I have given a simplest example so that most people understand the HNI allotment process as a lot of members seems unaware and confused. Leave the rounding part, even I don't know whether 3.5 is rounded to 3 or 4....

Applied 4 appli in BHNI... subscription figures in hni is similar to campus and size is very small... I m almost sure about listing gain .

Hni thread should b der.. to hve all msgs at one place from regular bidders who follow and take a clue from each other. I thought someone else would hve take initiative to open it..

Here I could apply only 2 sHNIs, and 2 Retail. Initially was a bit hesitant as I was expecting much better subscription, considering smaller IPO size. Campus was too big and still has 22x overall HNIx. Tried Edelweiss as guest but they too were not accepting sHNI at that time too.
Anyway now I will chance to work on my other theory to buy at listing.. Let's see....

if all allotted HNI's here won't sell much during listing, then it will list well and hit UC too after listing since in demand in retail and QIB is decent enough.

@MRavi. Yes. By analyzing the Campus at first slot, second slot and third slot of BHNI allotment ratio and seeing your earlier posting for 68 lots for Venus, I have applied here for 69 lots at 3rd slot. Let us examine after BoA is release. Thank you for your wishes and same to you. I don’t have any comments for your 816 lots as you are Boss of the Bosses.

In Campus if these was only one sole applicant for 69, 70, 79 or even 102000 lots, he would not have been allotted any shares.
I think I am right and am sure that you know this...

I was just wanted to see BOA if at all not subscribed in Big HNI by application wise (but that is not the case here in Venus now)

I think allocation is based on a group of adjacent lots . For example, they will group 20 lots to 25 lots and allocate based of number of applicant in that group. I am not sure about the group criteria
This is what I came to know from Rainbow and Campus.

So MRavi won't be sole applicant in that group.

I think if you would have applied multiple application with same lot size then getting allocated in atleast one will be more, especially with higher lots on bHNI
