I just wrote a mail to registrar Karvy......citing to withdraw my appl.......I applied through SBI asba facility.......today.......Will application b rejected?
What is valid procedure for withdrawal of application in ASBA procedure. Is there any responsible person is arranged for doing these works.phone corresponds it just impossible in karvy ocean.
Yes, you can withdraw ASBA bids. During the bidding period you can approach the same bank to which you had submitted the ASBA and request for withdrawal through a duly signed letter citing your application number, TRS number, if any. After the bid closure period, you may send your withdrawal request to the Registrars before the finalization of basis of allotment, who will cancel your bid and instruct SCSB to unblock the application money in the bank account after the finalization of basis of allotment

where the Karvy is registrar chance of capital loss is very high. look past 20 IPOs.
Looking at the final subscription figures very very low in all the categories , it indeed gives me hot panic inside to withdraw my application , there is no buyer afterall , nowhere.
I have applied offline ASBA via filling the manual form as usual ( no doubt it is the best way as per me to get the allotment ) but if I want to withdrar how can I stop my app unless it comes on hold.
Can I withdraw my ASBA bids? If yes, how? Yes, you can withdraw ASBA bids. Varun On performance front, company has reported EPS of Rs 11.52 (Post Equity) in last six months ended June 2016.If work out 2015 second half growth same as same 2016 i expect Varun to make a top line of 1300 at least even more since 35 lines was increase in May 2016 however i will just go liner and get 1300 at 16.5% EBITDA will be 215 Cr have year interest cost of 150 Cr will give me PBT 65 at 30% tax will give a profit of 45 Cr not included the interest saving so full year profit will be around 260 CR And expect to record earings of Rs 14.6 in CY16. At the asking price PE works out to be 30 times. Keeping in mind, there are no listed companies available in to same business segment, it can get benefit. will CY17 if all thing equal just on interest saying we get a EPS of 21 and this will grow 25% CAGR
all r scared with 93 PE on 2015 89 Cr which is wrong
CNBC TV18 Nigel: We wanted some numbers. This year we have already done Rs 200 crore in the first half of the year. Normally the second half is seasonally weak in comparison to the first half. So 2017, your estimate, you will be the best analyst of your own stocks, what should your numbers look like?
A: The numbers are looking pretty good. However, I can''t give the exact numbers but we are going positive every year as you have seen over the last few years and I don''t see anything negative going forward.
In the same way.. Also see the example of manpasand beverage.. Business line of the companies are more identical.. Soft drinks.. Manpasand ipo subscription was 1.4 times.. Issue opened at discount of 10% but now the price got doubled to 700 from its ipo issue price of Rs 328..

Varun Beverages Ltd.
Day 3 at 8:00PM – CLOSED
QIB*: 4.94X (*Excluding Anchor) NII : 0.42X Ret : 0.82X Emp : 0.05X Total : 1.86X
I don''t want to scare those who applied but found this remarkable similarity with the issue size and subscription figures of Coffee Day and VBL VBL: Issue Size: 1,112.50 Cr QIB: 4.94X NII : 0.42X Ret : 0.82X Emp : 0.05X Total : 1.86X CCD: Issue Size: 1,150 Cr QIB: 4.39X NII : 0.54X Ret : 0.90X Total : 1.82X
Here are some differences: 1. CCD has been consistently making losses before and after the IPO. Not so in the case of Varun. 2. CCDs clients are made of several different people who go there mostly to use it as a meeting place with no definite time limits. VBs client is a very well to do multinational giant with deep pockets and low risk exposure who understands the value of a strong partner
Good Observations but CCD was debt ridden, in losses, Well known brand but caters to the premium class with low volumes and low growth.
Here Varun is debt ridden ( but seems reasonable IPO proceeds expected to reduce the debt ).
Net Profit margins are very low. But caters to the Mass segment. Does not have pricing power. Revenues are increasing. Net profit is fluctuating but feel it is improving.
"However, if we annualized these earnings and attribute to its post IPO equity then asking price is at a P/E of 85 and is at a P/BV of 6 plus making it aggressively priced offer. Although it has no listed peers and is the first to go for listing with this kind of business module, it might attract fancy, but based on its pricing, it appears to be “High Risk/Low return†bet. Management has claimed that there are very few organized players in this segment that is growing at rate of 20% plus annually and MBL has a minor market share hence it hopes for bright prospects going forward."
Dilip Davda on CCD
"Remarks: We have witnessed miserable performances of IPOs of companies in red post listing. Considering continued negative earnings till date and its greedy pricing this offer is a "HIGH RISK" one."
Subscription figures were in line with analysis by experts and Listing was also inline with Experts'' recommendations. But the Stock performance was divergent post listing.

Read in some article about some analyst present in Varun Beverages roadshow that Varun Beverages in establishing 2-3 new production facilities in India and Africa .. Should have applied :(
septa, eagle eye very thankful to you, sharing knowledge, guide the investers,i regularly follow your comments, posts,i have one doubt, please clarify me,HDFC BANK ipo subsciption last day closing time, and HNA INVESTER is also elijable for retail kota or not
Well, it has received almost twice the number of bids against the shares offered.. But globally also, bottlers trade on a bit lower P/E howver, with Indian population and increased consumption theory, Its never a bad buy.. PepsiCo itself is selling territory under its control to VBL.. That seems interesting to me too
