I know there must many auto companies in your own current portfolio which are down by minimum 10.% or more. So it's better to invest in already owned company rather than chasing this overvalued company where sellers main intention is to cash out from unknown investors like us. Company business looks good, but not at this price..I m.buying what I already own...

most of the retail applicants does not know about the company fundamentals they are just applying based on mouth publicity of the IPO... Just to get the the initial gain based on the allotment luck that's it :)

It has not left much on the table for retail investors. And the market sentiment is gloomy. Also, for most people Rites and Fine money is not released yet. These could be some of the reasons for low interest by retail. Assuming retail investors as ignorant is a mistake.
Ye public hai sab jaanti hai.
Of course, this does not mean that listing cannot surprise. Like Lemon Tree. (I still feel sad for choosing Indostar and not Lemon :) )

Listing gain may not be there.

Similarily, there may not be any significant discount on listing.

Those who have applied like me, may have to hold for sometime, for gains.
