A multinational player in water treatment industry, VA Tech Wabag has fixed October 13, 2010 as a listing date for its equity shares, which issued recently via public issue. It has set issue price at Rs 1310 a share, at higher end of price band of Rs 1230-1310.
The company raised Rs 472.39 crore through this issue, which consists of a fresh issue of 9,54,198 equity shares and offer for sale of 26,53,383 shares, which amounting to Rs 125 crore & Rs 347.6 crore, respectively. The constituted 34.37% of the fully diluted post issue paid capital of the company.

The issue, which had opened for subscription during September 22-27, was subscribed 36.22 times. Qualified institutional investors' portion was subscribed 36.13 times. Retail & non-institutional investors' portion subscribed 8.55 times and 100.98 times, respectively.
VA Tech Wabag is a multinational player in the water treatment industry with market presence in India, the Middle East, North Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, China and South East Asia.
It provides a range of EPC and O&M solutions for sewage treatment, processed and drinking water treatment, effluents treatment, sludge treatment, desalination and reuse for institutional clients like municipal corporations and companies in the infrastructure sector such as power, steel and oil and gas companies. As on July 31, 2010, the company has executed 113 projects.
Issue proceeds are proposed to be used for working capital requirements; construction of a corporate office at Chennai and implementation of global IT systems.

1383 Annonymus bhai i can open more demat accounts in the name of my family members.but i only want to open accounts on the name of those persons who have blood relation with me.I do not want to open accounts in the name of my friends or far relatives because it can cause some kind of risk to my capital.Because money is the thing which can change the nature of even relative and friends a well so i can not take risk.Money is not a consideration for me but i have problems of accounts so i was thinking of HNI category.I know that HNI is not eligible for any discount but one can do nothing with 5 demat accounts.
